Long roads to roads less traveled
The Fray takes design cues from our Melee, but where the Melee prioritizes pure speed, the Fray balances speed and versatility. Featuring aero tubing and ample clearance for wider tyres.
Optimized for All Roads
The Fray geometry is optimized around 31 to 35mm tyres, though it can fit up to 40mm. Combined with progressive endurance geometry and the Enve Cargo Bay for in-frame downtube storage, the Fray brings road race performance to those seeking a wider range of surfaces and terrain.
Real-World FAST™
Developed in CFD and the wind tunnel, the Fray features refined tube shapes that have been tuned to complement our own SES™ rim shapes and deliver aerodynamic performance that is Real-World Fast™. Additional features such as the IN-Route System add to the Fray's slippery design.

IN-Route System
The Enve Route System routes wires and hoses through the bar, stem, and headset, where they’re secured using Enve’s anti-rattle finishing kit – allowing them to remain silent, out of sight, and out of the wind.
Aero Seatpost
The Melee features an all-new aero seatpost with a Kamm tail design and Enve's patented twin-bolt saddle rail clamp design. Available in straight or 20 mm setback and compatible with 7x7, 7x9, and 7x10 mm saddle rails. Available separately.
Material Optimized Design (M.O.D.)
Enve are carbon experts, artisans of our craft, using the best material for the application and making the products that we want to ride. At Enve, we design and build to the strengths of carbon fiber. This means running continuous fibers throughout the frame and fork, tapering the laminate, and removing excess material to save weight. Carbon fiber is layered and oriented to achieve zone-specific performance requirements like impact toughness, stiffness and compliance. M.O.D. is giving you everything you need, and nothing that you don’t to perform when the rubber hits the road.
Threaded T47 Inboard-bearing bottom bracket
Featuring a threaded T47 inboard-bearing bottom bracket for smooth, silent, creak-free operation. Your bottom bracket is the last thing you should have to think about.
Cargo Bay Frame Storage
Borrowing from the MOG, the Fray also features Enve’s Cargo Bay, an integrated downtube storage solution that makes efficient use of unused space for stashing your flat tire repair kit, windbreaker, or anything else you choose to carry. Under the Cargo Door, two Cargo Bags allow for 36 cubic inches/0.6 liters of storage. It’s a fast and simple storage solution that can be appreciated by racers and adventurers alike.
