Because sometimes size does matter! The Gustav Elite offers unprecedented heat stability with its one-piece forged oversized brake callipers and 2.5 mm brake rotors, which we can proudly release up to 250 kg.
Modulation Is King!
Even the most powerful brake is useless if you can’t modulate it sensitively. By enlarging the pistons to 12 mm / 19 mm, we were able to significantly reduce the pressure in the brake system. This means that less force is lost in the hose and co. The result is a defined pressure point with unbeatable modulation. The award-winning benchmark.

That’s why Magura doubled the time to maintenance with the Gustav! Extra-large brake pads with 94 % more volume and thick 2.5 mm brake rotors with a 2.1 mm wear limit keep you out of the workshop.
