KentIt's a quality shift cable. I'm really not certain it's worth 4x the price of an uncoated cable, but in an effort to maintain the perfect shifting of a Dura Ace equipped bike, $11 isn't much. Buy it and know you have Shimano's best on your bike.

Peter CI bought the Shimano PTFE cable to fit an internal cabling application. I figured the coating would help a little with friction and smoothness. This seems to be the case as shifting seems good, even after some moderately heavy use.
