Warehousing staff, pickers and packers.

Warehouse management, looking after our bulk deliveries, bulk warehouse and stock and stock management.

Customer service, dealing with emails and incoming telephone enquires.

We are also interested in hearing from experienced buyers and people with marketing experience.

As Merlin Cycles continues to grow we are becoming a 7 day a week business and as such some role will require occasional weekend work.

Accounts Assistant

Merlin Cycles was established in 1993 and today we are an online retailer offering bicycles, parts and apparel. We are located in Buckshaw Village, Chorley and this is also where you will find our bike shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff who are keen cyclists and are never happier than when they are chatting bikes.

All Purchase Ledger Duties including but not limited to
Matching invoices to delivery notes
Entering invoices onto Sage 50
Dealing with Queries
Supplier Statement Reconciliations
Raise payment runs - UK and Foreign currency payments
Pay proforma invoices and keep accurate records of these
Transfer/buy currency as required
Reconcile and post credit card account
Processing customer refunds
Month end duties including identifying accruals and prepayments, stock accruals etc and providing the Management Accountant with this information
Sundry item purchasing
Assist in annual audit
Other ad hoc duties as required

What we are looking for in a candidate is - Experience of working in an accounts environment, good organisation skills, high level of accuracy, great attention to detail and good Excel skills.

20 hours per week to be worked over 5 days Monday to Friday
28 days pro rata holiday including bank holidays
Office based Buckshaw Village, Chorley

Warehouse Operative.

Main duties would be the picking of goods for orders and stock replenishment. 5 days per week 37.5 hours.

We offer a clean and friendly working environment, working with the very best cycling products in the industry.

Basic starting salary £10.75 per hour, with attendance and other bonuses this will give an annual salary of around £24,000 PA.

28 days holiday including bank holidays. Immediate start available. Consideration will be given to part time roles especially if you can work on a Sunday.

^_Mechanic.

Main duties would be the assembly of road, gravel, mtb and e-Bikes. Also the building of custom built bikes and general service work.

5 Days a week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 16.30.

Basic starting salary £10.75 per hour, with attendance and other bonuses this will give an annual salary of around £24,000 PA.

28 days holiday including bank holidays. Immediate start available.
