Sizing Information for Lusso Clothing
Mr ChongVery very useful and compact enough to fit into the rear pocket
Mr BramleyExcellent quality and fit lightweight rain jacket. Packs down small, has some reflective strips,. Great value at discounted price, came with Merlin's usual lightening quick delivery.
HopkinsonThe jacket is fine but lusso's sizes are open to debate. Buy at least one size bigger than you need. I bought an XXL, fortunately it fits my partner who is an L and who also needed a jacket.
Mr scantleburyGood jacket, nice cut, long enough in the arms, originally bought a large but was a little tight, 42 inch chest 5 ft 11 tall, had to buy an XL to get good fit, kept the large gave it to my lanky son. Jacket good design and so far pleased, not sure how waterproof but only need it for showers and wind proof. Overall pleased with purchase, very fast delivery and good comms from merlin.
Rex H. AustraliaI'm 6'4", 95 kg & ordered the XL. Fits well but the sleeves tends to bunch up & tighten around the inner elbow.... other than that a very functional jacket for the price
OffilerBought this as a tiny stow away shower proof top, as a 39/40 chest male the Large is a little snug (over a t-shirt) but not too tight. Not tested the water proof qualities yet but construction and finish are good and expect no problems.
Mr WongI got the yellow one. It's light and bright. But it's not as breathable as I wish it would be. Sweat trapped inside the jacket.
PatersonExactly what I expected - but the sizing is small - so err on the large side when ordering.
basso master.Great value jacket. Excellent service with speedy delivery. Went for bright yellow and is better jacket than some a lot more expensive. Keeps you warm in the windy and cooler weather. Gets you seen when riding on roads which is never a bad thing.
Mr ÇİMENGood value. Very nice piece of clothing, fits me well. Not kept me dry in the heavy showers, little bit wet. Very breathable and windproof.
Mr ParksFor the price this is a well made, good quality jacket. Packs up small and works great for unexpected rain showers. I've worn mine in heavy rain and it kept me dry but the water repellency is dependent on the coating so I can imagine it will need reproofing occasionally.
butcherVery nice piece of clothing, fits me well , I'm 44" chest and XL is a perfect fit, not to tight and still comfortable . Brought it as light summer jacket for back up when it's just one of those days..... Bonus its its made in Britain . Brilliant price and service as always from Merlin.
Mr DavisGreat jacket. Had to order another one as my wife pinched mine
FrankNice fit, breathable!
Mr DavisGreat jacket to have in the rear pocket just in case you need it. Lite and bright and comfortable to wear
HewittGreat fitting jacket. Keeps me warm when its cold and windy out and also keeps me dry in the rain. Lightweight and easily packed away into its own pocket and stored in my jersey pocket. Just what I needed.
Jim MontgomeryGreat little lightweight jacket, folds up just small enough to fit in a jersey pocket comfortably. Waterproofing is good, venting is enough to "prevent the boil in the bag" effect at normal effort levels. I normally wear a large in t-shirts and coats and large in this was spot on size wise. I bought the yellow for that extra bit of visibility through rain, safe to say you'll be seen in it. Ordered Monday morning, dispatched same day and arrived the next afternoon. Excellent service, thanks!!
Jason MBGreat jacket for xc riding. Very light and small enough to fit into my hydration bag. Ordered Friday afternoon...received Saturday morning! Can't ask for more than that.
RudyardReally nice jacket, folds really small to pack away. Careful with the sizing as I'm normally an XL but this was tight on me and could have done having one size up.
LynnLight, foldable jacket, very good value, kept most of the rain off after 1 and 1/2 hours and seems to be breathable which is a bonus at this price
SteveTried out this week with 4 thunderstorms, quick to put on, dry enough when raining and quick to take off and put in your pocket. Just what you need for a summer rain jacket.
hillVery pleased with this purchase. I ordered the XL jacket, my chest is about 45ins and it fits me perfectly. I would describe it as a fitted jacket, ie no excess material ballooning in the wind when up to speed. Any larger, the XXL would be needed as it would be pulling around my shoulders/armpits when in the cycling position. The sleeves are long enough to fit my long arms. There is no room to wear more than 2 thin garments underneath. Or go for a bigger one. It packs down very well. As an emergency rain jacket it performed very well when I was in a very heavy shower for 20 minutes, I stayed dry. It is lightweight and very good value. I have since bought another one. At this price it cant be touched.
Mr WallaceVery pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item. Very breathable and windproof. Light rain and shower proof compared to the biblical rain I encountered while 'testing' it. I got the XL and it fits me fine - 6'2" and 42" chest
Mr HollidayGood Jacket for the money, sizing is a bit weird and a large is not that large - size up if you are broad & muscly / fat :)
Mr DunnFor the Money it's a bargain. Used it for this years Wales Velothon. Kept me dry in the heavy showers. Great jacket.
Mr Dos Santos borgesVery good jacket, can be used also on cold days as wind cover.
Dave63Light, great fit. Yet to be tested in a torrential downpour, but seems just the job.
AndertonBought 2 in the sale at a bargain price, one for my son and me. We both love the jacket, as its light, comfortable, wind and waterproof. Lusso is made in UK, which is good to see. Very happy with the purchase
Alp O.Light weight, good wind proof and zipped back pouch are pros. I did not like its rain proof. It is OK for light showers.
bevirmagicGreat product from Lusso. Thought I'd support a British brand and have not been disappointed. Good fit, I ride MTB and wanted a simple lightweight jacket for our dodgy summer .(i.e. an emergency shower jacket). Nice and light and does exactly what it says on the tin.
Mrs petersonLight and very pack able. Thankfully not tried in rain yet as not needed but feels comfortable on trying out and has good rear coverage.
Big Dave.Nice jacket, light and packs up small. A small stuff suck would have been nice. Not sure why its called a rain jacket, coz its not waterproof, but it is windproof. Nice cut. Sizing comes up on the small side IMO.
Mr taylorI bought this to carry on my commute and it's been ideal. It isn't totally waterproof in longer periods of rain but it's pretty good and perfect during showery weather. It's also worth noting that it doesn't breathe very well. Overall it's a really good fit, highly visible, great value and does exactly what it's meant to.
Mr KenyonExcellent fit and finish, good value.
Mr StanleyBought this jacket in yellow and a large. Using the Lusso size chart a large should have been a perfect fit - it wasn't. Too tight under the arms to be comfortable. I wasn't expecting baggy but it was too small. My wife has it now. A little bit loose but a surprise pressy for her.
Mr JacobsGood quality and at half price this was a bargain. I am 5ft 10" , 42" chest 34" waist and large is perfect fit. Folds down small enough to put in your jersey back pocket. If you warm up too much it can get a bit warm inside but it has a full zip so letting out heat is no problem. Then of course you take it off. Keeps off the wind but not very waterproof, shower proof maybe. I haven't tested it in the rain but just feels like it wouldn't keep that much out! I will use this in the summer but will try in autumn see how much cold it keeps out.
HillGreat jacket as a wind stopper or shower jacket. It's not a full on waterproof so don't use it as one. It's kept me reasonably dry in heavy showers and it's fairly breathable too.
