Magene C506 Smart GPS Bike Computer
A compact, powerful GPS bike computer designed for riders who want smarter navigation, seamless connectivity, and pro‑level training tools, all in a sleek, durable package.
Compact 2.4-inch colour touchscreen, with buttons for real riding
- The 2.4-inch full-laminated colour touchscreen is built to stay clear in all conditions, while keeping the unit compact on the bars. You also get three auxiliary buttons, so control stays quick and reliable when you're moving.
- At 76g, it's a tidy, one-handed-friendly setup that won't clutter your cockpit.
WiFi + Bluetooth that saves time before and after the ride
- Bluetooth keeps your setup connected day-to-day. WiFi is for the heavy lifting, helping with faster map downloads and easy uploads. The C506 also supports automatic AGNSS synchronisation, so you can start cycling without waiting around for positioning.
Smart riding assistant for lights and on-ride reminders
- Set up compatible lights directly from the C506, including the L508 radar tail light, L308 intelligent expression tail light, and AT series intelligent front lights, so you're not constantly reaching for your phone.
- You can also build smart connections based on ride conditions or stats, for example triggering a front light when speed exceeds 10 km/h. Add time or distance reminders for hydration, fuelling, or the moment it's time to turn back.
Advanced navigation with clear progress and smarter re-route options
- Download global maps direct to your bike computer, follow turn-by-turn navigation, and create routes in the OnelapFit app or upload a GPX file. Navigation supports routes up to 1,000 km, with north-up or head-up views, and live remaining distance and ride progress.
- Routes can be colour-coded for easier tracking. If you go off course, you can choose your re-route strategy: Destination Direction (default) for efficiency, or Nearest Rejoin Point to stick closer to the original route.
Custom data pages, with a wide set of ride metrics
- Build the screens you want to ride with. The colour display supports layouts like circular dials, line graphs and bar charts, and the platform supports 108 data items across 14 categories.
Airoha chipset with AGNSS support for fast positioning
- The C506 uses an Airoha chipset and supports AGNSS. The source states it can acquire position in as fast as 5 seconds in the stated test conditions.
Indoor training support for structured sessions
- Upload a FIT file from your ride history in OnelapFit, connect to a smart trainer, and relive outdoor rides indoors. When the C506 controls your smart trainer, you can set power targets, resistance and gradient for focused training.
- Create training courses in OnelapFit or import courses from TrainingPeaks, then sync and start training indoors or outdoors. For indoor sessions, you can switch between your smart trainer's power and your power meter's power data.
Lap by location, time and distance, so your training stays honest
- The C506 supports laps by location, time and distance without manual triggering. Lap data is customisable too, so you can tailor lap alerts and the lap list to show exactly what you want during a session.
Connect sensors, control Di2, and manage compatible cameras
- Connect sensors via ANT+ and Bluetooth and view battery and real-time data on the sensor page. For Di2 users, you can customise D-fly button settings to control the computer and other devices, such as switching pages or activating a tail light.
- The source also states camera control support: check storage and battery, switch mode, and start/stop recording using the bike computer or Di2 after setup. Compatible models listed are Insta360 X4 Air, Insta360 X5, DJI OSMO 360, DJI Action4, and DJI Action5 Pro.
All-season usability, plus the little details you notice every ride
- The source lists a built-in ambient light sensor to keep the screen clear in cloudy, rainy or sunny conditions, plus up to 24 hours battery life in long endurance mode (affected by settings and usage environment).
- It also lists: high-strength Asahi glass resistance to scratches, a nano anti-fingerprint hydrophobic coating, dark mode dashboard, auto-resume after an abnormal pause, screen lock/unlock via long-press, Auto Start with a speed threshold, SRAM gear ratio calculation support, and simple sensor management without "forgetting" sensors.
