San Marco Aspide Supercomfort Racing Road Saddle
The Aspide Supercomfort is a new version of one of the most iconic recent additions to the Selle San Marco range. The hole has been reshaped to make it bigger and increase the relief zone for perineum pressure. The level of variable density padding has been increased too and the Racing versions feature the gel layer and the openwork processing technique to the cover. The Aspide Supercomfort is available in narrow and wide versions to ensure a perfect fit and maximum comfort.

It is a material with a high percentage of silicon with particles of titanium and carbon. Light and strong, it turns out to be resistant to all weather conditions. The process through the stealth technology ensures a better strength against fatigue stress.
Nylon with high properties, enriched with a high proportion of long carbon fibre, in order to reinforce the characteristics of rigidity, stiffness and durability without compromising the weight.
Biodynamic structure that follows the movements of the pelvis during pedalling, guarantees comfort, reduced weight, lasting resistance and ideal support. The “closed cells” surface ensures water is repelled from the padding. Slightly heavier than on our standard Biofoam, with an thin layer of gel under the cover.
Breathable and hard wearing cover. It is lighter than traditional materials and less deformable. Anti-skid effect with an extraordinary grip on the saddle. Biocompatible material.
The perfect balance between the support and relief zone. The "big hole" helps maintain comfort under pressure and offers day long support and comfort. The central relief zone is long enough to work in all riding positions and the structural stability bridge prevents unwanted flex and twist.
Gary Yes we are all different so this is "my" take on this saddle , I've been using a Spesh Toupe RBX for years and loved it, however after about 25,000 miles it lost it's supportive feeling and it's getting saggy in the middle, so I've been going through saddles to find something similar , a few likely replacements but nothing 100% until this saddle came along, I got the 141 mm version, it looks lovely, not too heavy, no more numb nutz, is very comfy so much so you don't remember how good it is after a ride, you just fit and forget (this is my second SM so have done plenty of miles with it), there maybe a little too much padding for some but stick with it as it seems to settle after 400/500 miles, I've found a replacement that works...
