Mustapha Performance you get from higher tier pedals. Its all you need!
Mr Halgraves Excellent quality, just as expected from Shimano. Comes with yellow cleats
Mr Martinez Great pedals and easy to adjust. Very sturdy construction.
Mr Gomez Great pedal! Easy to put on and great build quality. 1st time rider
Thomas It's 105! What more is there to say? Look fantastic. Perform great. Cleats that come with the pedals I had a slight issue. Two of the yellow pads come off after the first ride but I believe that could be partly my fault.
Mr Haines Good value for money, all you need for an intermediate roadie!
Mr Rodriguez I am graduating from an SPD pedal to my first SPD-SL pedal and felt like spending a little more on something that is good on performance and durability. So far these pedals are light, easy to install, and have served me well over a hundred miles already, they even come with the yellow cleats in the box. I quickly acclimated to the leap from SPD to SPD-SL and am better for it. I feel more comfortable pedaling out of my seat, and feel better able to put power down in a sprint and climb.
Brian High quality Shimano pedal. Replacing a lower tier Shimano product with close to 10,000 miles on them. Gets the job done!
Mervyn I like these. Cheaper than the ultegra pedals but so far I`ve not noticed any real difference in the performance now they have bedded in. Good pedals for a second bike.
Mr Neethling I am really impressed with the pedals. They are light, strong and allows for complete transfer of power to the drivetrain. Also the Shimano 105 pedals look good and complements my groupset. Overall an excellent purchase.
Toby Like the rest of the 105 line, these are probably one of the best value pedals. Sacrifice a bit of weight (over Ultegra/Dura Ace) for a big price saving.
Sad Fred. Pedals are excellent; light weight, well balanced (makes it straight forward to clip in). Overall good value.
M Wilhelm So far so good. The price was great, ordering was easy, and not too bad on shipping time to the US. I have only done 2 rides on the new pedals and they are comfortable and light weight. The cleat clips in easier on these than my previous pedals saving me a second or two each time I start from a stop.
Richard Great pedals. Stock spring tension came in a little low so just remember to adjust it once you get it.
Mr Agrait The best pedals that I've ever had.
Mr Pollard Good looking pedals. Firmer attachment than the 5700s
Manuel Love them. Very good looking, light and confortable.
Dongmin Switching from a platform pedal to these spd-sl cleats was the best change I've made thus far. Pedaling with cleats on makes the riding experience much more engaging. Not only does it feel like I am engaging more muscle groups but it almost makes my pedaling buttery smooth.
Mr Kaye Only used them one time so far. Easy to install, plenty of float, locking/unlocking very crisp. Like them so far compared to the Time pedals I was using.
Ian The pedals arrived in a timely manner and were exactly what I expected. They look and work great. They're also easy to clip into and making tension adjustments is also simple. I look forward to putting many km's on them.
Mr Ireland Terrific pedals! Light, smooth, affordable elegance.
Mr WARREN First: Merlin Cycles. This is my first purchase from them (but not the first I've heard of/seen them). They are always competitive in pricing - even more so with these pedals. Merlin Cycles shipped my order quickly and well packaged. The shipper managed to get it across the big pond to the USA in good time. Very well done. I won't hesitate to purchase from Merlin in the future. Second: These pedals are proving to be everything the reviews say they are: light weight (for the price); sturdy (no noticeable flex or weaknesses); and great value (especially at Merlin's price). It feels old school (in a good way) to ride with a "Full Gruppo" 105 setup. If Shimano pedals appeal to you, don't be afraid to step-up from the 550's to the 105-7000. They won't disappoint. If you get them from Merlin Cycles, you won't be spending much more anyway.
Mr Evans Nice budget pedal, light and Shimano pedals are easy to look after.
