Mavic Aksium Disc Road Wheelset - 700c

The Mavic Aksium Disc Wheelset is an entry level, durable disc, ideal for riders making the transition to disc brakes and wanting a wheel that can just be fitted and forgotten about.
 
With its 21mm profile, it has been designed around wider tyres for extra comfort and stability. Weight is kept down by the S6000 aluminium rims, which are made even lighter as they have no reinforced braking surface. The use of sealed cartridge bearings keeps the wheel running smoothly in all conditions, making this a great choice for cyclocross and gravel riders too.

John B Bought these as an extra set of road wheels for my gravel bike to save changing tyres. Allow me to run more offroad gravel tyres for those rides. A couple of minutes to swap the cassette and fit the wheels its good to go. Very good at this price

Mark Wow! WHAT a superb pair of replacement wheels in place of factory-fitted wheels I had. Excellent value for money. Beautifully smooth bearings and incredibly smoothly running too. May not have aero spokes, but a great buy all the same! Would buy them again.
Don Really good value wheels with sealed bearing hubs. I have had some of the larger bike retailers own brand wheels in the past and they’re OK but they save weight on the hubs rather than the rims. The Aksiums have a good quality hub and light rims - you can really feel the difference in the rotating mass. I’ve fitted mine with Conti 5000 GP 32mm tyres for my commuting bike and on average they’ve taken 2 mins off a 55 min ride. Highly recommended at this price.
