Rollwiderstand. Die patentierte, 5 mm dicke SmartGuard-Schicht hat im Vergleich zu allen herkömmlichen Produkten einen erheblichen Vorteil beim Rollwiderstand. Schwalbe hat seinen Vorsprung in der neuesten Version weiter ausgebaut.

George GThese are the second set of Schwalbe tyres I have replaced on our Brompton’s. Had read some reviews that the Marathon Plus was hard to fit but I did not find them that difficult to get on. Ordering from Merlin was simple and delivered quickly.

Mr BrownGood quality tyre, bit harder to get on versus normal Brompton tyre but if you have the right tools it's doable at home. Hard to comment on durability as it's brand new but seems good!
bikenwalkThis is my second set of Smartguard tires for my Brompton. I bought them to keep on hand for the day when I have to replace the first pair. At the current rate of wear, I believe that will be a long time from now. The rolling resistance with the Schwalbes is noticeably less than what came on the Brompton. I have had no flat tires after a full season of use and expect to have no flat based on the design. It's worth a premium price to buy this tire because a flat will be difficult to repair on a Brompton, especially the rear.
