NigelThe Z Liner Tyre Stripe works very with all types of tyres if you have inner tubes. Do in the winter having thicker tires plus the liner reduces your punches to zero. Even in the summer months was lightweight race tires the liner will reduce punches. Installing the liner can be tricky if you never done it before. You can remove the liner and install it to any tire that you use. I do like Zefal liners as I've been using them for a couple of years now the only thing you do know is after a ride is dig out the flints and hedge cuttings from your tyres instead of on the road.
