Rim Tape

Tempting as it is to just use some insulation tape or sellotape, a proper rim tape is a much better option. It's stronger. It can take high air pressures without worry. It can help prevent the tyre from slipping and squirming around the rim during high braking loads or when running at low pressure. Tubeless rim tape is designed to also seal the rim, stopping air from escaping and allowing pressure to be held. Tubeless rim tape is available on our tubeless tyre accessories page.
