But the reality is clear: in a PFAS-free world, that type of all-conditions treatment is no longer possible. So Castelli reset. With Nano Flex EVO, they didn’t try to recreate the past. Instead, Castelli engineered something purpose-built: a true wet-weather bibtight designed exclusively for riding in the rain. 

The Nano Rain Bibtight is for those hard-core riders who never skip the ride when conditions turn bad: when the roads are soaked, temperatures are low, and staying dry matters more than versatility. It uses tightly knit polypropylene fabric with a PFAS-free C0 DWR that naturally resists water absorption while delivering exceptional warmth. This construction creates a protective barrier that still protects when the weather is at its worst. To support this focused performance, the bibtight features a reduced-seam construction, a raw-cut ankle for less bulk when pairing with a shoecover, and integrated reflective tape with the Nano Flex EVO logo for added visibility. 

This is not a “rain or shine” bibtight. It is a rain-only tool, and it requires care to perform at its best. After each wet ride, wash the tight. While it’s still wet after washing, apply a water-repellent reproofer spray generously, then allow it to dry for 24 hours. Once dry, store it until the next rainy day.
