Crono CX2 Mountain Bike Shoes - 2026
Breathable and light microfiber makes the CX2 a superlight race shoe, at the same time incredibly robust thanks to the tear-resistant material in the toe and the TPU heel on the back. It’s equally suited for XC racing, gravel, or cyclocross with the micrometric BOA® Fit System L6 closure system. The BOA® Fit System L6 features a coated steel cable, allowing you to adjust the shoe precisely. The internal tongue provides extra comfort, and we use special material in the inner tongue that adapts to the foot’s shape during riding. We laser cut the holes to increase ventilation and comfort.
High-Performance Microfiber
In Crono's footwear they use high-performance microfibers. Microfiber is significantly lighter than leather while offering greater resistance. This material is highly breathable and does not stretch over time, making it less prone to cracking even when exposed to moisture and heat. Additionally, the microfiber is highly water-resistant, making it ideal for riding in wet conditions. It dries quickly and is easy to clean; often, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is all that is needed.
L6 Boa® Fit System
The L6 Boa® Fit System improves fit and functionality of your technical shoes. Bringing you closer to your equipment, the Boa Fit System delivers improved agility, response and control. Boa® can be adjusted quickly and precisely with only one hand and your gear is quick to put on and take off.
Crono MTB CARBOCOMP Sole
Carbon composite sole and reinforced nylon. Lightweight and responsive, it guarantees efficient power transfer without sacrificing comfort. It provides secure footing on uneven paths that require walking with a bike.

Fittting: ERGO FIT
