The Antares R3 Open features a composite Carbon-reinforced nylon shell and a light, strong, corrosion-resistant K:ium rail. A Comfort Core foam layer beneath the neat, durable Microtex cover provides comfort, which is enhanced by the full anatomic cut-out that avoids pressure on the rider’s sensitive soft tissue and ensures that all weight is correctly supported across the whole surface of the saddle.

Big AlThis is the second one of these saddles I have purchased. They bed in quite quickly and it's comfortable for long rides.
DannyResearched this long and hard after the mitsake of getting lighter stifffer blah blah blah saddles. The small amount of flex in the saddle over bumps is great, size and fit based on the Fizik video is spot on for me and I love the saddle for the price and weight. This being for bike 1 searched long and hard for best price on new saddle after finding reviews both favourable, and to suit my aging butt and riding position. YouhuanI used to use Antares VS but this is my new favorite saddle. Very good for long rides.
Mr HoggI've now ridden this a few miles in different conditions and it's proven to be comfortable and supportive. It's the first open saddle I've used and it seems to be effective.

Alberto222g on my scale for a 142mm. After 100 km ride feels good, this replaces a fizik Antares, the gap definitely makes a difference as I can feel some pressure relief. Still needs more time for a proper review, I wanted this saddle to be able to ride longer distances 150km + with no hassle, we will see.
