PaulBought this wheel set to replace the stock Bontrager wheels on my new Trek Domane Sl 5 which were known to be heavy. I also replaced the stock tyres for 28mm Continental 5000's to get some weight off. The tyres instantly took over 200gms per tyre off the weight but these wheels finished it off, taking over 800 sms off the stock wheels, combined Ive saved over 1kg in rotational weight which has made a huge difference to how the bike rides. These wheels roll really nicely, look the part and are solid in construction. A great all-round, lightweight set of wheels that for the money, I don't think you can go wrong, especially with Merlin discount prices. Look fantastic on the bike too, very pleased all around.
PampsThe wheels are the bees knees, made these up for purely road use (I have Fulcrum 650b for mixed use). With Panaracer tubeless semi-slicks they are a lightweight combo that spins along merrily.
