I installed it on my ebike, good braking power, I did not have to shorten the hose so installation was easy. I had a little space issue with the lever, I could not put it right next to the gear lever. Fast delivery, good packing.
Easy to install. Easy to bleed once you know how. Like how the lever can be set up left or right hand. Nice feel at the bite point, not spongy at all, just solid. Haven`t used off road yet, but after a couple of runs down a small hill on the road to break in the power really started to come on. The forks would compress right down and Tyre felt like it was trying to bury itself into the road. Finally it appears to be a well built quality bit of kit (time will tell).
I bought the MT5 as an upgrade to a mechanical caliper for use on a disability tricycle. My lack of strength had been making stopping difficult, but the 4 pot caliper on the MT5 has improved the situation immensely. The unit arrived ready to go, with no bleeding required. Once the spacer pegs had been removed the caliper was easy to fit, and was working after only a couple of pumps on the lever.. So far it seems like excellent value for money.
Good strong brake with loads of modulation compared to the br-m615 it replaced
