Mr Dimaunahan good lube be sure to always clean your chain after every ride :)
Mr Rycroft Great for the dry, hot and dusty conditions we have out here in Dubai. Does not pick up too much dirt. Easy to clean the chain after a couple of rides and re-apply ready for the next ride
Mr Dominguez Great lube for dry conditions. Stays clean and lasts long enough. I use this on my summer bike which never gets used in the wet (intentionally!) and I use the wet version on my winter/commuter
Adrian Sanchez Good lube, reasonably durable for a dry lube. Very silent drivetrain. I'm still on the search of the perfect lube but this one made it to the top 3 of my favourites.
JB Great lube but needs fairly regular application. Just wipes clean with a wet wipe or cloth.
Darren Living in a dry and dusty Dubai, this is by far the best dry lube I have used. Has to be applied regularly but gives great protection and keeps the transmission spinning quietly and efficiently...
Northern Ferret Living out in Dubai in hot, dry dusty conditions, this lube does the trick. As long as you make sure that the chain is cleaned regularly and re-apply the lube then you should have no issues. It does need applying regularly as it is not a wet sticky lube, I usually apply after two or three rides or approx 200km - I also use the wet lube when traveling into Europe for cycling holidays - It pays to use the best!
Mr RODRIGUES PEREIRA I was hoping the muc-off C3 could be more clean, after two days of application with just indoor riding two hours later the chainset get black dirty, the outside of chain was clean but inside was black dirty. Need to re apply after every 50kms or the chains starts to get noisy.
Mr Correa Martins The best lube in my opinion. Easy to clean and long duration.
Andrew Dolley (AUS) This is my preferred lube for the chain. Works well as a chain lube and also for pully bearings. Also importantly for me it is easy to clean and remove from the chain to make the chain look brand new. It is a dry weather lube so excessive travel in the wet is not advisable unless you plan to re-apply after each ride. This lube will not bind up the chain with dirt & dust etc or put an oil stain all over the cassette like other oils do.
Mr Redding Works really well! Amazing in the dry
Steve Dalal Switched to this ceramic lube from a wax-based lube. The Muc-Off C3 works much, much better in the dusty conditions I ride in summertime (northern california) where the soil has a lot of clay. The dust kicks up and sticks to my shoes, frame, and legs, but the C3 lube appears to keep it off my chain!
Phillips Quite expensive for a lube but does work well. When applied in advance limits the muck the chain collects.
Baines Kind of got an expensive taste for Muc Off stuff as it just works. Passes the Hebden Bridge winter test and even the crazy amount of grit/salt they're throwing on the roads at the moment don't seem to trouble it
Mr Laycy It smells really nice, and attracts loads of dirt but seems to do a good job of looking after the chain.
Baines Perfect and just works. Expensive yes but actually cheaper as you don't need to keep re-applying. Actually use it on both my Scott Scale and Scott Plasma.
Baines Seems to work really well on my Shimano XTR chain. Had some very wet and cold weather recently and this lube seems to say on the chain without attracting dirt. Expensive but worth paying for as it seems to work and last well
Mr Wren Great lube - what more can I say?!
Mr Rawle Actually very good chain lube. Really good, in fact! Start off with a clean chain and dot some of this on every roller, and er... that's it. It doesn't wash off easily, it doesn't collect huge amounts of crap (I commute in the countryside, we have a LOT of crap on the roads here) and it stops your chain from squeaking and rusting. It just works, and it's a bit sad that chain lube that does EXACTLY what it says on the tin should be such an exciting rarity, but there you have it, my friends: we live in a disappointing world, and this lube does it's part to make that world a little bit better, and a little less rusty and stiff. If your chain could thank you for this lube, she would!
