No Tubes Race Tyre Sealant - Quart
Stan's No Tubes Race Sealant - Quart
If you've walked the mechanics' pits at any National or International level event, chances are you've seen them: trademark Stan's black quart bottles with no labels. Look closer and you might have seen strange symbols scrawled all over the bottles in a silver marker, letters and numbers, formula notes by the man himself, Stan Koziatek.
For nearly fifteen years Stan has been quietly formulating a special racing version of our legendary sealant for many of cycling's most successful teams. Working with athletes who push themselves and their tubeless systems to the absolute limit, we've developed a proprietary sealant formula with close to twice the amount of our standard sealing crystals plus our special "XL" crystals capable of sealing even larger punctures. Stan's Race Sealant's combination of large and smaller sealing crystals interlock to form a lattice work that not only seals but strengthens and reinforces the area of the puncture, allowing for an entirely new level of sealing performance.
This is the next level in sealing power from the people who invented tubeless conversions and made tubeless readily available to the masses. The quantity and size of crystals in this special formula means that Stan's Race Sealant can only be installed directly into the tire. As a result of its immense sealing capabilities, the Race Sealant will clog injectors and smaller bottles almost immediately.
We are now making our Race Sealant available to riders everywhere. Stan's Race Sealant is only available by the quart.
- Ride the widest range of conditions and temperatures - Premium low-viscosity latex coats the tire’s sidewalls for quicker sealing
- Faster and better sealing capabilities to keep you rolling - Twice the sealing crystals compared to the standard sealant
- Seals larger punctures to get you home or to the finish line - “XL” crystals and standard crystals combine to seal larger punctures
- Safe for the environment - Comprised of natural materials
DanielSealed my tubeless setup well, can't speak for puncture protection yet.
nelsonFirst time using this variation of the sealant. Interestingly as I inflated the tyre it immediately sealed 3 punctures and maintained them on a 40k off road ride too. Given 1 of the punctures was right next to a grip block I was pretty impressed - other sealants have failed in such positions.
Qwiso WhizzoBest price I could find, and at only slightly more than the normal stuff, I figured I might as well give it a try. Be aware that you can't inject it into the tyre in the normal way, as it would clog your valve because it seals so quick - my initial concern about it clogging the valve if left valve-side down proved unfounded, as it still allows the tyre to inflate and deflate as normal after several weeks. Improved puncture sealing also adds greats confidence to my riding.
BroughBetter choice than standard sealant if you run plus tyres over rocky terrain as you are gonna need all the gloop you can get to plug tears.
Mr MaginnThis sealant is a bit thicker/ more granular than standard Stans so needs to be poured directly into the tyre rather than using the injector through the valve. No punctures yet! I got this because I had two holes in the previous two weeks that Stans didn't seal & needed to put a tube in on the trail.....messy! Hoping this works better. It's expensive though.
Mr FelsteadThe best tubeless sealant out there! OK it costs more but it definitely works.
RothwellEasy to install, but no flat tyres yet so hard to say if it works better than standard sealant!
