1 Stem - 2 Handlebar Diameters. The Black One Direct Mount D-2 revolutionises your DH bike. As the successor to the legendary Black One Direct Mount stem, this innovative stem finally allows you to ride with both handlebar diameters. The included reducer shim allows you to use handlebars with a diameter of Ø31.8 mm. If you remove the sleeve, you get a Ø35 mm stem, flexible and adaptable.
 
The two-piece design seamlessly integrates into your cockpit, giving it a burly and refined finish. The two-part design of the stem and reducer sleeve enables effortless handlebar installation without having to dismantle existing components like brakes or grips.
 
The intelligent and seamless clamping design in the lower area ensures that there are no pinch points or sharp edges. Instead, the clamping forces are evenly distributed, increasing safety and creating optimal technical conditions, especially useful for carbon handlebars. This is particularly important as most loads and notches always occur at the lower part of the handlebars. Furthermore, our smooth and seamless clamping surface extends the lifespan of your handlebar.
 
The stem has been certified according to the E-Safety Level with Category 5 (Maximum) and has successfully passed the EFBE E-MTB Tri Test (EPAC MTB-GR).
