GingernetFinally decided to take the plunge and give myself another layer of data to analyse. Easy to fit and set up via the stages app. Linked to a polar V650 computer. Lost connection half way through the first ride but no problems since. Excellent service from Merlin as usual and competitively priced. Pleased with the purchase just don't forget to keep your head up and enjoy the riding as its easy to get too focused on the numbers..
JulesThis arrived quickly, was staightforward to install (just make sure you have a Shimano pre-tensioner tool or similar, very cheap). This was a replacement for my old pedal power meter, which wasn't robust and eventually stopped working; but this crank power meter appears completely robust - so far I'm completely happy with it.

Uk RoadieI have used stages before so no stranger to them.They are very simple to put on your bike and using the app is easy as well. Ive been racing for years but bought this as i always over train. Once you have your FTP you can set your garmin to link with the Stages and away you go all the data you will ever need!! Obviously this only does your left leg and splits the average for you which unless your riding the tour de france makes very little diffrence to an average rider. Anyway these seem to be popular as could not find them on line anywhere until i saw them here at Merlin great price and on my door step the next day. If your new to power meters you cant go wrong for the price and ease of use the hardest part is learning what all the data means!! good luck and enjoy your cycling.
