Colin MacHarris Been using Atac since they first came out, still the same reliability and quality. It was great to receive them so quick and before expected. Top work from Merlin.
Brad I am using these mtb pedals on my road bike. I like the ease of clipping in and out with the two sided pedals. I replaced some Shimano mtb pedals as the Times are a bit lighter. They also look better on the bike. The clipping in and out does not feel as positive as did the Shimanos - the Times feel a bit mushy in comparison. I'm sure I will get used to them and they are adjustable for release tension and float, should I decide to play around with that.
Mr Dollimore Good pedals for money, great float to look after the knees.
Mr Greensmith Always used Time Atac pedals on my MTB's and road bikes. These have gone on the road bike (can't justify the cost of the carbon ones) and if they're like the others they'll last years. Look good as well, nice, secure clip system with no fuss release. Clean themselves and great on the knees - what's not to like?
Mr Keane Possibly the best value in Time's XC range; nearly identical specs to the XC8, only slightly heavier and £25 less (based on Merlin's pricing). The finishing and detailing aren't quite as good and they ship with the cheaper 'Easy' cleats (10 degree release angle vs the reversible 13 or 17 degree release on the standard cleats), but overall a bargain.
Gareth Dent Perfect pedals for anyone with less than perfect knee alignment, which is just about everyone. The XC4 is to my mind the ideal trade off between cost and weight. Highly reliable, l have been touring on one pair for nearly ten years.
Andre Very pleased with these pedals. Fitted to my winter trainer and no problem with overshoes getting caught, good result.
Mr streets I have been using Time pedals for years, and never had any problems, and these XC4's are by best pedals yet. They are a good weight, positive click when getting in and a nice bit of float, useful if like me you don't always pedal straight. They look more expensive than they are also!
E2R Mark Been using time for 15 yrs odd now, always had the carbon versions but needed a basic set for a winter mtb. For the price these seem ideal, very little feel difference to that of the carbon variety with the only sacrifice being that of weight.
Anthony Excellent quality clipless pedals and cleats, made in France to a high standard. Decent seals to keep the bearings protected from the elements and from dirt. Easy to fit using an 8 mm hex key. And, importantly, easy to use for a newby to clipless pedals. Recommended.
Joolz Love these pedals. Easy in, easy out, secure and smart looking. Good service from Merlin.
