Blackburn started manufacturing cycle products in 1975 when the founder Jim Blackburn wanted to make stronger, lighter, more innovative and more reliable cycling products. The company has grown massively since then but the ethos remains the same with an ever increasing range of products.

They are now recognised as a leader in pump design having created the first dual minipump, the first oversized mountain minipump and the first dual stroke trackpump as well as many other now standard features. Their range of lights is also attracting a lot of attention with many awards quickly coming their way for innovativeness, reliability and sensible pricing.
