GrantThis bike is unbelievable value for £600. Component specifictation is the highest you will find on any bike at this money bar none, just look at the some of the parts, Rockshox Sektor forks cost circa £300, KS Lev DX Dropper post cost circa £300, RaceFace Evolve Bar & Stems cost circa £100, add to this the high quality SRAM X9 groupset, good quality Avid disc brakes, a good quality external bearing crankset, good solid set of wheels with some excellent Schwalbe tyres, all in this is an exceptional bike. What probably really sets it apart is the frame, in a world where all bikes seem to have a very generic feel the Myers is very much a unique affair and anything but your typical frame. The top tube has some really nice curves, the chainstays have the optical illusion by having a downward bend in them making it seem like the bottom bracket is much higher when it's really not, and all the welds are smoothed over giving the whole frame a really nice clean feeling. In terms of it's riding capabilities this bike is a beast which seems to be able to handle everything you throw at it, you just want to go fast and chuck it around everything that gets in your path, tyres roll fast and grip well on just about every surface, the handling is really sharp and immediate, absolutely flies on downhills, and it also climbs effortlessly, in fact you can climb up some really steep inclines in the saddle without even needing to lockout the forks. All in this is an excellent bike, especially when you consider the £600 price tag
Mr BurzynskiWell-matched components, optimally balanced between quality and price. It looks very good and weighs surprisingly little. Everything works correctly and smoothly. I bought a bicycle on a 15" frame for a child. At this price I would not find a better bike. I highly recommend it.
