Pirelli P Zero Race TLR Folding Road Tyre - 700c

P ZERO™ Race TLR: designed for Performance, Speed and Grip. The SpeedCORE™ carcass is a thin airtight later of rubber compound with aramid particles that covers the internal part of the tyre. This construction allows greater flexibility of the rubber compound, creating a faster and more supple tyre with reduced rolling resistance, whilst the use of aramid allows for better puncture resistance. A 120tpi nylon fabric with an additional anti-puncture aramid breaker completes the carcass. The tread pattern uses the most advanced Pirelli SmartEVO™ compound for the highest level of performance. All these special features of the P ZERO™ Race TLR are skilfully crafted in Italy providing unique quality and superior performance. P ZERO™ Race TLR is designed for Performance applications during Spring Summer and Autumn seasons.

Features

  • SmartEVO™ compound is the latest generation blend of smart polymers to provide maximum grip with a low rolling resistance allowing for maximum speed and control

K JOnly used for 200 miles so yet to see how durable these are, but they are fast and well made
Rosstop notch. love pirelli tyres. easy to fit, fast rolling, comfortable, grippy. all you need
Mr SchonegevelExtremely good price for high end tyres
Mr SchonegevelMerlin Cycles is always great with communication. Feel safe buying online with them
NeilPirelli introduced the 2024 P Zero Race TLR RS after discovering that the 2023 P Zero Race TLR were overbuilt by comparison with the competition: they were more puncture resistant but also slightly heavier, so Pirelli produced the RS to deliberately reduce puncture resistance to equal the competition while lowering weight and improving performance even further. For those of us who aren't in the World Tour, though the Race TLR remains an excellent choice for a high performance road tyre, combining top performance (it was being ridden in the World Tour only last year after all!) with greater resilience and longevity than typical, which is good when you're buying a pricey tyre. They're also cheaper than the new RS as well! A great tyre with great road feel, great wet performance, and you'll get fewer punctures too.

ArturMy favourite tyre. Easy to fit, grips well, gives a lot of confidence. Doesn’t seem to puncture easily.
Mr DalThe tires themselves are excellent, easy to install and very grippy. However they were delivered in a plain brown box with no packaging from Pirelli. Is this normal?
shaunVery happy with these as good as the reviews fast delivery thanks
JonnySo far so good! Managed to get them on without levers too.
Mr YoungerMy second set of these tyres. Found them as good as Conti GP. Easy to fit on my Zipp 404 and they wear well. Used them over winter too - no issues. Current price a bargain compared to last year!
Foxy33Amazing tyres, low roll resistance
Mr KocyigitEasy to fit, fast and good grip
Mr KatribAwesome tires, wish had before! Replaced my Schwalbe Pro one race TT THOSE COULD NOT HOLD PRESSURE AND SEAL A PUNCTURE. THE PIRELLIS HELD UP SO FAR VERY WELL AND THE GRIP IS PHENOMENAL MOUNTING WAS EASY TOO. COMFORTABLE EVEN AT HIGHER PRESSURES (in size 26, for a 89 kg rider ). Recommend !
jamesGood so far, fitted easily and sealed first time. Two crit races and a few training rides on them so far. Grip seems good in the dry, maybe not quite as grippy as GP5000's, but pretty close. They come up a tiny bit smaller in the 26's than the 25 Vittoria Corsa G2.0 they replace. Nice recommended tyre pressure chart in the box for all combinations of tyre size, rider weight and internal rim width.
Mr ENCARGANice tire, super fast
MonikaExcellence product. I bought this tyre second time.I go to work using bike path with a lot of broken glass. This tyre can survive it!!!
JNSOne of the easiest to set up if you go tubeless.
Mr RadfordEasy to fit and inflate with power pump, look good on my carbon wheels, i have only done 37 miles so will have to wait and see how they are punture wise, i went out yesterday in cold wet conditions and the ride and grip were good. So overall pleased so far.
Mr DinmoreExcellent tubeless tyre 26 version good fit on 20mm internal rim easy to fit using sealant and keeps pressure well. A 24 version used for over 500 miles has proved reliable and fast.
Mr DurantEasy to fit on a Mavic Cosmic Pro rim, however they did take a good number of goes with a pump for the tyre to seal properly. Once they had sealed they didn’t really lose much pressure. They seem good after a few rides, however I got a puncture after going over a pothole in a group ride which wouldn’t seal, with air escaping from between the tyre and the rim. I think the puncture caused a pinch flat between the tyre and the rim and also damaged the beading of the tyre, so it wouldn’t seal when reinflated at the roadside. Had to put an innertube in (which I was told would be almost impossible, but was reasonably easy). I tested the resealing of the tyre on the front wheel when I got home by deflating the tyre, rolling it around on the floor to mimic riding on it, and then reinflating, and it sealed perfectly. I have bought more of these since and sm willing to give them another try as even if the sealing issue happens again, the innertube was easy to fit at the roadside.
DavidProved very easy to fit (to Hope carbon) and inflated with a track pump. It did take take a while for it to seal to the rim though and would only do this with sealant. However, since then it has proved very airtight with little attention required. Only ridden about 100 miles (in poor conditions) and appears to be comfortable and grippy. Only time will tell about durability etc. I run exclusively tubeless on my bikes and generally use Schwalbe Pro One and Hutchinson Fusion and this is very comparable, so I would recommend.
Mr PorterGreat tyres, easy to fit on 1st time tubeless
