The ergonomic touch pads are a nice touch, and having Ispec EV is great, shimano please stay with EV for a while before changing the game again! Paired great with a Hope Tech 4 lever. Quality solid shifter from Shimano that will probably last 20years if looked after

ZHSThe 8100 isn't even as good as my 6100 because pushing the levers is pretty stiff. Returns need to pay for shipping themselves, very bad.

BSSwapped to XT 12 from Sram GX11, the different in quality is night and day, the double shift on this I already wouldn't want to live without.
Mr AguaresAs usual with shimano products, quality is great for the price. The features are spot on. There are lots of options for adjusting the position. I also like the textured rubber on the levers. The system is too good that I swapped it in to replace my sram xx1 drivetrain in my main enduro race bike.
