Merlin Wear Core Cycling Knee Warmers

The Merlin Wear Core cycling knee warmers are a great option for days on the bike when you know you’re facing a cold start with the potential for it to warm up later on in your ride; these versatile Merlin knee warmers can be quickly removed and stored in your jersey pocket when temperatures begin to rise. Made from 240g Roubaix Lycra they’ll keep your knees warm and insulated, effectively turning your favourite shorts into cycling ¾ length tights; with silicone hems to prevent them slipping down the Merlin Wear core cycling knee warmers pack down neatly and can be easily stowed away when you don’t need them.

Featuring:

  • 240g Roubaix Lycra fabric
  • Compact and packable
  • Ergonomic on-bike cut
  • Silicone gripper on the hems
  • Subtle Merlin branding

Merlin Wear Sizeguide

HunnymonsterI'm a 2XL kind of guy in all respects (when cycling) except knee warmers it seems... Used the 2XL last winter but was channelling Nora Batty in doing so. The XL is much better at staying put without crimping off the blood supply.
La Bellezza del CiclismoUsed these each morning on my commute to work, they haven't dropped down once or even budged an inch, really comfortable, completely stop the biting wind from getting through and don't make me overly hot. I purchased these after putting a little *AHEM* extra weight on and my regular knee warmers pinching higher up giving a clear 'sausage tied in the middle with string' effect. These don't do that an have been superb. Super cool logo. I LIKE!
Mr ongFor the price, this pair get my top rating! Good cut, rubber ends on both top & bottom, and good length, too!
TimGreat quality, well made, shaped, real world sizing, can't really fault them, except the labels can irritate a little. Merlin could not give me any dimensions when I enquired, so for an XL, I can say they are 36-41cm long (they are shaped so vary), 20.5cm across the top and 15cm across the bottom.
Mr GriffithsI bought these because I am now commuting to work and we're at that awkward time of year where it's a bit cold in the mornings but not really cold enough for full leg warmers. I wasn't sure how much I would use these so didn't want to spend that much on a pair so thought I would give these a try. I have to say they have been excellent so far. Despite the low price the quality is good and the sizing accurate. For a shortish guy a medium fit my larger than normal thighs very well, they stay in place too. For the price you can't go wrong really, very happy with my purchase and would recommend.
TWDo the job: stay up, keep my knees warm, didn't cost much. And look cool with the new Elite shorts.
SkeetVery soft roubaix fleecy fabric which has a good amount of stretch. They're nicely curved around the knee and keep me warm. Great price too.
Mr IvesExcellent, very good quality and great value
Mr M SissonExcellent quality knee warmers at an incredibly low price. You won't find quality, fleece-lined warmers for less than this.
StevePerfectly functional knee warmers, great for spring and autumn. Being tall, I would have preferred the top half a little loner but it's nothing of any real concern.
HongkongphooeyDespite what they say about knee warmers not staying put, these do and they're 99% perfect. I've banished the leggings. The 1% is because the labels are on the inside and the larger of the two labels has a sharp corner can be irritating but I'm trying to work out how to remove it completely without damaging the stitching.
Mr CleghornDo what it says on the tin. Keeps knees warm, stay in place and no rubbing. Fabulous service and delivery.
Mr JinksGreat bit of kit. Really pleased with the excellent quality. Why pay silly money for Castelli, Santini etc when Merlins own clothing is top class. Very impressed
Mr SmythThese are a nice fit and offer fantastic value.
