Northwave Storm Carbon Road Shoes
Designed to give you more power at the pedals than ever before, the Storm Carbon Road Shoes from Northwave is a comfortable footwear experience that will make you feel like a pro every time. Built with plenty of support through every twist and turn of the road, the Northwave Storm Carbon Road Shoes are all you need for a lifetime at the pedals. Starting at the bottom, you’ll find the industry-leading Morph Carbon 12AAS sole, featuring a more developed full carbon layer that packs in the direct power transfer ensuring responsive feedback, without adding any extra weight to your set up. Between the layers of carbon, you’ll find the slightly more flexible TPU foot arch support that adapts to your individual foot needs.
Moving further up the shoe, the overall construction is genuinely a thing of wonder. Biomap Unibody technology allows a whole heap of breathability via micro perforations that wicks sweat away from the skin, elasticity for freedom of movement and unbeatable protection. The Storm Carbon shoes provide a dialled fit thanks to the SLW 2 system closure, and additional Velcro® straps give you extra security.
- Morph Carbon 12 AAS sole with 100% carbon insert in the pedal area and stiffness index 12.0.
- The unique Anatomical Arch Support®, in TPU, allows the shoe to perfectly model itself on the arch, making the sole ideal for any type of foot
- Compatible with NW Speedplay adapter for the shortest distance foot-pedal
- Unibody construction fuses large inserts on the web in strategic areas with reinforced materials with ultra-thin thickness. The result is unrivaled breathability and targeted stability
- Extremely open meshed mesh further increases airflow
- The decentralized lacing removes pressure on the back of the foot ensuring optimal winding
- SLW2 rotor with extra strap: the only one with step-by-step and complete release in a single button
- Performance Regular insole for greater plantar support
BarryNice shoes, good product--dont trust the shoe size chart!! MY size 45 SEEMS TO BE 2 SIZES SMALLER
Mr nicellSuper purchase really happy with my shoes great quick service
KJSComfortable from the first ride, love the dial adjuster, plenty stiff too.
Richie BikelaneBeautiful finish and the fit is great. Super stiff sole and perfect snug fit with the fastener.
Mr GargLove it .. super comfortable
MartinSuper stiff but comfy, and very well ventilated. Recommended.
John BSuperb value shoes. Extremely comfortable easily adjust on the go.
AVOrdered these at the same time as the time as a pair of Sidi Alba 2 shoes. Great prices on both and delivery times. Although the Northwave are lacking a little on 'bling' they are a truer fit to size. I'm a standard size 44 (UK10) and these fit absolutely fine, the Sidi's fit a little too snug for me to feel comfortable (should have realised this after always going up a size in Sidi motorcycle boots). Construction quality seems good but time will tell after putting some miles in.
Mr MacklinExcellent shoes as usual by Northwave. Go one size larger than normal as they're a bit small sizing.
Mr warnockgreat shoes fit perfect my normal shoe size 8 1/2 ordered size 43 spot on 1st class delivery as allways from merlin
Fat Fox CoryI love these Northwave shoes. So much so that I have 2 pair already. For this price, you cannot get a better shoe. For a European made shoe, sizing goes with American fitting. I wear a size 9 and purchased the 42 and it's the perfect fit. The stiffness of the sole is outstanding, making power transfer more efficient. I would definitely buy again, oh, I already did.
Mr GreenhillDone 3 or 4 rides with these now and very happy. Vents aren't that effective for me though but good stiffness and comfortable. Not done a long ride yet but up to 20 miles seem great so far.
Captain KangarooTop-tier shoe at a value price. Previously owned a pair of Northwave's Flash(2017) shoes that I had worn out. So glad I went with these Storm shoes. My feet can breathe much better than the Flash shoes. Nearly zero flex in the shoe without sacrificing comfort. The heal pad is definitely not as flimsy as the Flash shoes from 2017. I would buy again and again.
