Mr WoodwardDoes what it says on the tin. Not the best quality but unfortunately the only type of Bottom bracket that with fit in my Giant Anthem. Tends to last about 2 years of steady use, which for the price is ok. Have change twice since having the bike and on the plus side is very easy to fit. Normally just tap in either side initially with a rubber mallet to locate and press in using the plastic vice jaws of my workman.
Mr LorrimanDirect replacement for the original. Great quality, easy to remove and assemble with basic tools.
doeringWorks as well as any Shimano BB so far. No squeaks, easy install.
Mr O'LearyGreat price, fast delivery. I tried ordering this from another cycle company and they made me wait 3 1/2 months before I cancelled and ordered from Merlin for 2/3 price, next day delivery! Ace.
Mr CoulthardQuick delivery easy to fit old one lasted 18 months.
Mr FinniganAs advertised, excellent price and delivery. Five star.
Mr DudmanGood priced and good quality Bottom Bracket. I needed this quickly to get the bike repaired before going on holiday to Morzine, ordered 12:38 Thursday arrived 11:53 Friday - excellent.
Mr CondranBought as an exact replacement for a worn out one that lasted about 18months with a variety of riding, Cwmcarn, Brechfa, Whites etc in all weathers. Non drive side wore out first. The old one broke up with the Park removal tool but the remaining bits were easily removed with a piece of wood and a hammer. Easy to install with a home made press and a good cheap replacement. Not very "bling" but doesnt need to be. fitted to a Lapierre Spicy 2010.
Mr VolneyThe bearing quality is good but I am not a fan of the plastic construction of bottom bracket cups as they deform very easily even if you use the correct tools - The service I received from Merlin is good its just that the product is rubbish I'll stick with metal from now on!
