Stewart A Shimano HG400 cassette. So it's not the lightest but it works sweetly enough.
RICHARD Durable and cheap 👍
Mr Clayton Did the trick - no real need to spend more unless you're an elite racer type.
Mr Fenwick Direct replacement/upgrade for my HG200 Cassette. Straight forward to fit and smooth changes.
Canadian Winter Rider Typical Shimano quality, as expected. 11-34T purchased. Perfectly packaged, installed easily and is functioning well.
Philip Nice quality for a very good value cassette.
Nicholas I bought this cassette to help me up the hills and it certainly does that. Feels like good quality
Mr L Nice upgrade for my bike, super happy, shifts smooth....
NICK Inexpensive cassette for value and quality
Chris A decent cassette for my old Deore LX hubs. Nice quality as good as the original HG-50. Finish is a shiny nickel plating which looks quite durable. 300 miles on it so far and it is changing nicely with a KMC
Mr Phillips Dependable cassette. 11-32 version is reasonably light for a 9 speed double system. Good value at £14.99.
Chris Smooth, accurate gear changing.... I suspect this is not the lightest cassette around, but I am not the lightest rider. If weight is an issue, my losing a few lb's would have more of an impact.
ND Reliable and easy to install
Velo Phoenix Always good quality and reliable.
Mr Warburton This product is still sat in its packaging. The Beast from the East meant that there was no great urgency to get my bike on the road. However, as the part is a like-for-like replacement, I'm sure it will be fine. The price, including p&p was significantly cheaper than the national retailer who carried out the service and diagnosed the need for a new cassette. Heavens knows where they got their price from.
Richie Bikelane Cheap n chearful, strong and reliable.
Mr DEKRIEK Wide range replacement cassette for my commuter bike. Easy to install and no derailleur adjustment was necessary.
Mr Denning Yet to fit this new one to my bike, but it is identical to one I have on another bike and I've found it be an excellent low-cost 9 sp cassette. Delivery was very quick, and cassette was well packaged.
Mr Wilson Good price, probably not the lightest but perfect for winter bike.
Mr Murray Decent enough 9-speed cassette to keep my hardtail running. It is working well with new chain, no problems! :)
Mr Harrison Bought this for my Sora triple road bike specifically for a hilly event. The 11-34 weighs 150g more than the 12-28 it replaced but I'm hoping the lower gears will help me out when tired. Cheap enough to experiment with.
I.A. Long lasting and reasonably light.
Mr P Good range and smooth shifting. I have noticed a big improvement when I replaced with a new chain at the same time.
Mordo This is the best cassette in this price range; strong and working well..
Mr RUSH Used this to take my old 8-speed Trek to 9-speed. Works great and provides a more smooth transition through the range.
Mr May These cassettes are the best value available. I use them on my Audax bicycle not an MTB, the 34 tooth model gives a better range lower down for my needs and rarely have to resort to the 34. Shimano make this level of product to an exceptional standard and unless you are a weight weenie why choose more expensive.
Mr Clarke A good solid performer. Not especially light but then it will last. Shifting is very good. Worth the money!
