ABOUT MERLIN WEAR’S ELITE RANGE

The Elite range is just that - the very best Merlin Wear. It’s for those who are really laying down the miles or the watts. It’s also simply really nice stuff for those who just want to treat themselves a bit. Even our top end stuff is within reach of most people's treat budgets. Elite stuff is race-ready but it’s not restricted to the race course. You should be wearing it every time you pop out for a pedal.

Mr Wallis Great fit, as per the size guide. Really comfortable premium quality fabrics and a chamois that lasted all day in the saddle. Very happy considering the price, these are comparable to much more expensive bib shorts from big name brands. Fast delivery too!
Mr Carslake Best cycle shorts around. Wish they would make a pair for winter!
Mr Park I bought the best quality product. The pad is also great. At this price I am grateful to buy a good Merlin product. If you purchase the size you see fit the size of your size will be an excellent choice.
Mr L Good quality for the price. I like the elastic of this bib, evenly tight and comfortable
Mr Stafford Great fit! Super comfortable and the rubber dots around the thigh holes help keep leg warmers in place and the shorts from sliding up. Great product!
Y C PARK I could get it online, so I purchased this bib shorts for both reasons, including the Bastogne HP pad from CyTech Elastic Interface and the belief in the Merlin cycles own brand. As a result, I was not out of my expectation. I bought a small size 176 cm tall and weighing 66 kg, and it feels a bit pulled when standing upright, but it is a perfect fit for a cycling posture. The thigh band does not chew, but keeps the thigh firmly. Sewing is also meticulous. It is a really good bib shorts. But where can you buy a premium bib shorts at a low price?
Mr Wilmotte Go up on size. I'm 6'5" @ 230 lbs with 36" waist, athletic build and the XL are super tight fitting. Should have gotten the XXL but oddly enough my Ultra bibs in size large fit great. The Merlin Elite bibs are very nice quality with a very comfy pad.
Mr Milnichuk Very good, fit as expected. Will be buying another pair. Great price.
Mr Bayley Good fabric, nice comfortable leg grippers. Pad is good, the ones found in these shorts are also found in shorts costing twice as much. No idea how long they'll last, time will tell. They perhaps size up a little smaller than other brands. Would definitely recommend and will be buying more
Mr Winder Have only worn once so far for a 30 mile ride and they were really comfortable. I am 3 stone underweight for my 6ft 4 frame and I bought the medium size which fits around my legs and body OK. Could perhaps do with a bit more length in the shoulder straps, but then again I am a freak of nature. Good value when compared with other manufacurers products.
Mitch Great bib shorts at a great price. Wore this on the weekend in a 100 Km charity ride. Very comfortable. Highly recommended.
H Laos Love these bibs! top quality materials and just great quality, Merlin items never disappoint!
Bailey Excellent, well made comfortable bibs. On par with big brands @2.5 x the price. My go to shorts. I have 2 pairs. 1 in xxl, the other xxxl. Think height not chunkyness with sizing. Difference between xxl and xxxl is just a bit of extra bib strap length. I am 6ft 4. 3\4 bibs of the same quality please
Mr VARGAS I love the fit and design. The chamois is really good and supporting for long rides.
Daniel These bibs were a pleasant surprise with lots of good things going on: The fit is excellent. Supportive without feeling too tight, comfortable straps and the legs are a bit on the long side, which for me is perfect. Excellent quality leg grippers. This is definitely a plus, as the bibs stay in place even on skinny legs like mine. The chamois is also very good quality. Its thin (I prefer it that way) but super comfortable. No complaints here. If I could make some less positive remarks, it would be some of the stitching that is not finished very well, but this is not really an issue. I`m 183cm, 85cm (34 inch) waist and an L suited me perfectly. Recommended.
Ms CARR Have to say the bib shorts were the correct color but the size does come up slightly small so you might need to go up as size. I gave the bib shorts five stars because the product is of very good quality
OWSO Good quality shorts. 5ft 10 and 70 kgs and the medium is a good fit. Leg length on the shorts is on the short side but not too bad and I prefer this anyway. Pad doesn't feel too thick and first impressions are that they are very good vfm. Dispatch time by Merlin was very impressive. Ordered around 3pm and they were here the next day!!
wainwright Don't underestimate the quality of these shorts based on their price, I have paid double for shorts that have turned out to be inferior to these.
jpateusa These seem well made and fit great. The build quality for this price range is excellent. I plan to purchase 2 more pair.
Vincent-Townend Great value, look and nice pad. Would recommend.
Mr Buckerfield Great bib nicks, comfortable to wear with the chamois providing plenty of butt support for those long rides.
Mr Currie Well made shorts with a high quality pad. At 6' and 200lbs, the XL fit me nicely.
Mr Jackson Nice pair of shorts. The pad could be thicker though.
Mr Sutorius My favorite shorts for 4 - 5 hour rides. I don't want to pay over $75 for a pair of shorts. Got these for around $50 each and love them. This is the second time I have ordered 2 pairs of these. Large fix my 5'11'' 190 lbs great.
Mr Ozcan Size is as described fits well. Fabric is a little slippery on saddle. Pad is thin but works better than thicker ones. Highly recommended.
ryansog Elastic interface pad is low profile but supportive, very similar to a Castelli kiss pad, leg grippers are very comfy, hardly notice they are there, definitely go for a bigger size, I am 6ft and 34 waist, 86kg and XL was tight at first but alright once washed, would buy again for sure
Shane Like sitting on a cloud! Could not be happier with this purchase.
Mr Rothery Very comfortable, only used on rides up to 34km so far. XL fits, I am 6 foot 3 and around 90kgs
Mr Kubiakowski These bib shorts are marvellous. There are breathable, comfortable and most important great padding. It is always a risk it buy online but I must say that how the product was described on the website certainly fits the description. I would recommend these to anyone.
Mr Wherrett Great shorts, done a couple of 50+ mile rides with them with no issues. Will be buying a second pair shortly and still cheaper than one pair of the cheapest Assos which I also use and these have proved to just as comfortable
Victor My first bib shorts (thanks road.cc). Rode just 200km. The padding is awesome (compared to my old TLD mtb undershorts), the reflective logo is a good bonus. I`m 179cm, waist 83 cm, 70kg and L fits well (I think I could use a larger one, but as I said - I have no experience in roadcycling clothes). Only one minus - couple of labels put inside the shorts, sometimes (not on the bike) rubbing my back unpleasantly.
Mr Schäfer For me the best Bibs. Great fit, great pad.
Mr May Classic type shorts with quality features. Discreet logo which suits all situations. The important pad is top of the range. At a price considerably less than many others of similar quality
Mr Godinho I have to compare these with dhb classic, the other uk online shop inhouse brand. This chamois is better to sit more upright, to climb, not so good to ride on the rivet. The fabric is more ventilated on these, but the chamois drys slower. Finally, they fit smaller, I got both in M, both good. I'm very pleased with this product.
Mr Mills Excellent quality with a nice finish to the material. The padding certainly saves the old backside from soreness. I ordered my usual cycle-wear XXL, and they are an OK fit if slightly on the snug side.
parkes I bought my first pair of these at Xmas after reading good things. Well regular 60 mile road rides and no issue with comfort, before with other similar priced bib shorts comfort was always the issue. Just bought a second pair, quality is great I can't tell the new from old now after a few washes, other stuff again is looking worn after a thousand or so miles
Mr smith I bought these shorts based on the many good reviews I had read both on Merlin's website plus independent reviews. I first wore them on an 80 mile ride from Bala but unfortunately I had a saddle sore from another pair of shorts so it was difficult to get a proper feeling of the shorts. The side with the sore was painful but the other side was OK. I have now done several 70 to 80 mile rides in them without a saddle sore and agree with all the other good reviews. They are as comfortable as Assos and Castelli shorts I have used. They look good with the dimpled fabric and the leg grippers work well. My only concern and the reason for not giving 5 stars is that some of the stitching holding the insert has started to unravel. I have snipped off the loose end and will keep an eye on them for further deterioration. If so I will return to Merlin. I would definitely not let this put me off as I have had this a number of times with Assos shorts costing 3 times as much. I'm 5'10" and 12 st. 3lbs and large fits very well.
Mr Rasanen So far so good: as of yet, I have not ridden really long rides with these, but they are probably very good also for lengthy exercises. I am 178 cm tall with ca. 85 cm waist and the M size is a pretty snug fit, just as it should be.
Tom Sharpe Very impressed. Not quite on a par with my favourite santini bibshorts, but damn close. The pad in particular is excellent. I bought in the sale, but even at full price they would be excellent value for money.
Jmess Really like these bibs. The fit and pad work really well for me on long rides. I have bibs that cost twice as much and don't feel as good as these.
Daimo Fantastic bib! Used these on 4 rides including 120k 2,000m @ 30kph & 55k 550m @ 36kph with no chaffing. Really comfortable pad - my new go to bib over my Asos which were chaffing on every ride. Great compression with oversized silicone grippers (not the cheap type) - some people complain they're hard to get into but you just turn the grippers up. No nipple chaff with straps. I'm 186cm/77kg and the large are perfect fit. Pros: Good compression; Amazing grippers; Pad feels like riding on air; Tight fitting Cons: Pad takes long time to dry; Upper construction feels lightweight/cheap but comfortable; Hard to pee
Manners As soon as I tried them on I was impressed by the quality of the material and construction. Out on the road the shorts were very comfortable and I completed a 82 mile ride with no soreness. Proof that the pad does its job. My favourite shorts for long and short rides.
Harrison I'm 5-11, 185 and ordered an XL. They fit very snug and at first I thought they were too tight but, in used to them now and think this is how all line should fit. Excellent pads and construction. Merlin always has exceptional prices.
Mr Wispenninck Excellent fit, super silicon grippers. Great support with just the right amount of stretch. Top product, very happy with my purchase!
Mr Dubuc I'm in Canada and surprisingly these got here 9 days after my order. First time I tried the bib shorts I went out with a group for a 120k ride. The shorts fit perfectly and are super comfortable. More than pleased thus far. Still don't know about durability but these look really well made I'm sure they will last.
flw No problem with the size, wore a medium and the medium suits me well. A little tight at the bottom but excellent fit. The upper is very comfortable. The pad is great. Very comfortable without being thick. It is an excellent product for the money.
Mr Chong Superbly comfy for a long distance ride
Edwards Quality item, well made, good material used. Comfortable pad, good stitching. A complete no brainier.
Hans 65kg @ 178cm. Size S is a perfect fit for me, although it is a bit more snug than S in most other brands. I really like the fabric and chamois and in my 4 hour ride I experienced no issues with the shorts. I'd say they can easily compete with bibshorts which are twice as expensive.
Donga My new go-to bib shorts. Good cut, good strong fabric, low enough at the front, band not too tight at the bottom of the leg, like some other shorts.
Graham Watson These Bib Shorts are astounding value for money. The pad is excellent and I've ridden several distances around the 100 mile mark with no discomfort whatsoever. The grippers at the bottom of the legs are the biggest I've seen and although this makes it more difficult to get these shorts pulled up, once they're there, they ain't going to budge.. Rest of the materials used are also top notch and the braces are comfortable. Sizing is realistic. The XL fit me perfectly. I'm 5'10" with a 37" waist and 29" inside leg (long torso). I have been using a couple of pairs of these shorts for the past 6 months and have just bought another couple of pairs in case they stop making them.
Mr Carr Excellent fit and fabric with a good, supportive pad
Parky Excellent pad and fit, went for XL as 6ft 2in and 14 stone. Replaced 10 year old Assos, could not be happier. Recommended.
John Excellent Value shorts and above expectations. Very comfortable for long spells in the saddle. Note. on the small side so order a size up.
peter A great value pair of knicks - good quality, good fit and accurate sizing. Really comfortable on the bike, a great buy.
taylor Bought these after reading many positive reviews and recommended on cyclechat. Excellent value, very comfy all round, you will not be disappointed but do size up.
Cobler My first pair of bib shorts. Very comfortable and superior to just padded underwear. I went with the elite instead of the regular one in hopes for a longer lasting chamois. I'm giving it 5 stars for now but will update if I have any issues.
Mr Sutorius Great shorts. Pad is comfortable for at least 3 hours. Just be careful determining what size you purchase. I usually wear a Medium in Performance brand shorts, ordered a Large in these according to the fit guide. If they were any smaller, I wouldn't want to wear the large.
T Yates After reading a review that recommend these over the Rapha Core Bibs, and at less than half the price, I had to try them. (Also I chose free delivery and they were at work the next day!) I was not disappointed. The fabric has a great cut and texture, solid comfy leg grippers with some compression. I took them out for a 70km spin with some gravel sections and the chamois was the most comfortable I've used. (compared to Craft and Castelli) I'm 6'2, 76kg, 32" waist and the large were perfect. No pulling on the shoulders, follows the arch of the back, and still snug on the legs.
Mr Cook Great shorts. Absolutely unbeatable for the price.
Mr Cem KURKCU I had a chance to try it after just having bought with a 115km-ride and I felt so happy with my purchase. I have been using other brands and so far this is the best one. It was very comfortable around 80-90 kms and you begin to feel " something" after 90 km. I definitely recommend this product.
Mr Spiers Very good bib shorts for the money compared to my endura and castelli pairs.
Mick Didn't expect much out of these for the price. Got them and they're brilliant. Great quality for the price and very comfy. They just are a little shorter in the leg than most of my other shorts.
Olidar I love it, Very tight fit so beware. At the time I could not compare with my current bibs but FYI I am 172cm tall 34 waist. Here is my equivalent for bib brands. Rapha classic medium = DHB medium = Rapha pro team large = somewhere in between of Large and XL for these bibs. In my case I purchased large, they fit fight so my second pair will be XL
Martin McGrevy Top class product, super comfortable pad. I will buy again as the Merlin Service is first class too.
Mr brown Well made shorts with subtle branding not used them yet but going off reviews they should be no problem. One thing I must mention is the sizing they come up quite small, I`m 175 and 82 kg and the large were tight so exchanged for XL and they were fine, so maybe think of going up at least one size.
Joshua Weitzman The main reason I purchase these shorts was for the Cytech chamois and I have not been disappointed. They make the best chamois. The rest of the shorts were a pleasant surprise as well. The fabrics are good quality and the fit of the shorts is spot on. The only shortcoming is in my opinion is uppers, which seem to use cheaper materials and are not cut as nice as the shorts. I'd surely buy them again.
GeraintnotThomas Went for a medium 6'2 and 72kg, great fit for me, and the pad is one of the best I've used. Will being purchasing a second pair
Nick Lovely pair of shorts with a great quality pad, sizing on the small side for larger cyclists. Service excellent as ever with Merlin
peter The Merlin bib shorts are excellent value. They are a comfortable and functional fit (I hardly even notice the straps) and are of a high quality finish. Great for the everyday cyclist who doesn't want to pay for 'pro' gear.
Mr Maloney I have only tried them once but look great value and quality. Fast delivery very happy so far. Do like the understated graphic . Looking forward to putting in a few more miles. I'm slim 6 tall and 32 waist medium was nice snug fit although a little tight on legs. But they are comfortable .
Mike First up these are a lovely looking pair of bib shorts. The thigh band is wide and comfortable and stays put. The rest of the shorts seem equally well made. The textured fabric gives a premium look and feel. The chamois seems firm to touch but was instantly comfortable once on the bike. Sadly however I found the initial comfort doesn't last on longer rides with some discomfort creeping in. These bibs are great for short to medium distances but personally not my go too pair for anything over 70km. I do feel that these are superior to the dhb bibs I've ridden in the past. Good job merlin, I think I'll be buying more!
Mr Tan Great bibs from Merlin. I have bit of a "beer" belly, my height is 165cm, approx 72kg, wearing size 32 pants and a Medium fits me great.
Nathan Ansell I have always worn Castelli shorts with Progetto x2 pad and was pleased. Until I bought these shorts.... The pad is by far superior and is more like a pad found in Rapha shorts (but slightly smaller which is better) Cannot praise enough for the quality of this product, great build quality and a really snug fit. Best bit is the leg grippers as they are by far superior to anything I have tested. I bought these when there was an extra 10% off and wish I only bought a few pairs. 60+ miles with no feeling of discomfort at all 100% recommend and already had a few friends buy these on the back of my order, and we are a group of people that do on average between 6k-12k miles per year
Rodda I'm really impressed with these bib shorts. Really nice fit and quite comfortable and seem really well made. Can't really comment on longevity but if these hold up reasonably well, which I reckon they will, I'll definetally be buying again.
Mr lazenby Plus points: Excellent value. Good fit. (182 cm, 86 kg) Good compression Comfortable EIT pad Minus points: Pad is very smooth and doesn't absorb sweat easily Legs feel slightly short Overall an excellent bib short..Keep up the good work, Merlin!
C. Boydell Excellent bibs, remarkable quality for the price. Well made, quality materials. I'm 5'-11" and 165, Large are a nice snug fit, definitely could not have fit into a Medium. Will be purchasing more pairs soon. Why pay more?
TW Love these new bib shorts. Big improvement on the dhb ones I was replacing, for not much additional cost. Very comfortable on the bike, sporty fit, look nice too. Massive bargain.
Mr Morrison Top Notch - very good quality, fit and price. I'm 6ft with 34 in waist and the large fit very well.
Skeet Tried a few bib shorts and these are excellent for the money. Very comfortable around the legs and waist and the pad is very good too. I like the subtle branding, not one for the loud logos all over the place. I can't comment on the longevity as I've only had them a week but I'm very happy with them.
Mr Hazard These are fantastic - the measure up favourably against big brand bibs that cost at least twice as much. The pad is fantastic and held up well on the two 50 milers I've done on it. The leg grippers are a touch tight though.
Mr MIKE Fitch Quality bibs, tight compression fit, if a little short in leg length (but I am 6ft 4in tall.) Sizing is 1 size above normal.
reeves An excellent pair of shorts. I wore them for 5 hours on the first ride and the padding was really comfortable
Mr whybrow Very pleased with the shorts, ticked all the right boxes. Cycled 105 miles and they were comfortable, with some chamois cream. One down side is, when stopping for a "comfort break" I did find the leg grippers a bit tight apart from that the fit is good. I will certainly buy again, very good value shorts.
peter Was looking for something durable, functional and comfortable without the hefty price tag. The Merlin bib shorts certainly fit the bill - they are good quality and fit really well.
Marty These shorts are excellent quality for half the price of other big brands! Perfect sizing and double stitched chamois perfect will buy more...
Mr BELL I've bought 4 pairs of these bib shorts now as I think they are excellent quality. I really like the chamois and the fit is good for me. I prefer these to other more expensive bib shorts that I have and are the ones I use on long rides. I doubt you will find better bib shorts anywhere
RideTo100 These bibs are the best! I purchased them to replace an aging pair of Pearl Izumi Elite shorts and I have to say that they live up to every rave review: perfect fit, great fabric and comfy chamois. After putting 100 miles in them, I'm already looking for an excuse to buy a couple additional pairs.
Mr Hindle Well made and comfortable. Longest ride so far 90 miles and I am confident they will be great for more.
Graham Wow these are comfortable. Wore them on a warmish day for their first ride out (23-24c) & felt cool & fresh all the time. So far a few more rides in & you just don't notice them which is surely exactly what you want! The pad seems great too, no mositure build up & you get the comfort without feeling its there.
Mr Porter I've wanted a pair of bib shorts for a while now and decided to order these after reviewing many other brands. Pleased I did because they are very comfortable, well made and great value. Arrived very quickly. I would recommend this product 100% and will be back for more. Thank you.
Liam B More comfortable than my Castelli bibs, especially over longer distance. Very well made, fantastic chamois pad. If it helps, 5' 10" and 82kg and purchased XL. Understated design so matches any existing kit, why pay more? Very happy.
Mr Gibbons These Bibs are very comfy and the pad is excellent, I ordered XL and am 5ft 11 and 36 waist, they are ever so slightly on the small side, also the legs are quite long. The care label is quite large and itches, I have had to remove it. I will be ordering a new pair soon as they are great value. Recommended
Mr Doyle I've never had a pair of bib shorts and I figured for the money involved these would make a good test case. The overall fit and function is very acceptable and seem to be a good deal for the money. The chamois is good and fared well on a recent 40+ mi ride. The hem at the legs is a satiny black material that I don't quite like aesthetically (white would look better I feel), the stitching on the inside leg seams is not quite form fitting and results in an uneven look but has little or no effect on performance or function. My only critique with them is more of the concept of bib shorts in general, though some of the design and materials used may have play in this. I find that the straps are a tad uncomfortable both in having them there and when I begin to perspire. The stitching on these is flat and doesn't seem to be the source of irritation and the material is not heavy. It does bunch up though and not easily sorted quickly (maybe this is typical?). So for me the jury is still out with regards to bib shorts, I like my Castelli Ergo Tre shorts and am hard pressed to find a reasonably priced alternative that feel and look as good. I'll give the bibs more time though to see how I adapt.
Mr Bromwich Having previously bought (and loved) the Sport bibshorts, when I found myself with a little bit extra cash when looking for another pair I decided to upgrade to the Elite version. Again, these are a really good pair of shorts - good fit, well made, really good pad and a great price. Combined with Merlin's quick delivery, I have no problems with this order and would heartily recommend.
BC_Dog This is my first experience with cycling bib shorts- found it's a perfect fit and feels great (but also found the difficulties of a restroom break). It's fabricated with high quality materials and stitching that I found to be synonymous with the Merlin brand. The chamois has the perfect thickness, shape and density for long rides and is comfortable on and off the bike. I wish I could find shorts that fit and feel this good. Hey Merlin, please design shorts with the same fit and feel of these bibs! Great product!
Mr Richard Gaunt Excellent product for the price... I'd previously been struggling with saddle sore doing 30-40 mile rides. With these shorts, those problems are gone even at 50 miles +
Matt For the money I don't think these can be beaten. I was wary at first wondering why they were cheaper than other brands but after a couple of 30 mile rides I can safely say I'm very glad I took a chance on them. I'm 5'7" and around 72kg and a large is a great fit. I've had trouble with other brands due to not being built like a Yorkshire Whippet but these seem built for the everyday man. The Cytech E-I chamois is absolutely superb, as fresh at the end of the ride as when I first got on the bike and a massive difference from my previous non-bib shorts. It doesn't feel overly padded and I could barely tell it was there while riding but due to the densities within the pad it supports very well. The bib section is comfy and doesn't cut into the shoulders and there's no riding up the legs due to the deep material section around the thighs with decent silicon grips. There are no flashy colours or graphics, just a couple of very classy white logos so they match easily with all my other kit which is another plus side as some brands seem to be heading away from the plain black. I cannot recommend these shorts enough, thoroughly happy with the purchase and will most definitely be buying more!
Mr Davies Stunning shorts, outstanding value for money. Now own three pairs. Are you reading this Assos & Castelli?...well you should be!
Mr Neill Tested over a few rides now up to 3.5hrs and very pleased, quality really good, size well usually a Medium and after reading some comments went for the Large - and fit perfectly. So will be buying more Merlin cycle apparel in the future !
Newfie By far THE best budget bib I have tried, and I've tried several. These have the feel of a pro-level pair of bibs. I've recommended them to many of my friends and I've only had them a couple of weeks!
Aldomac Good quality and size spot on.
Randy W Extremely happy with these. Was a bit uncertain since there were no reviews but they are a winner! Going to order a second pair. Wish Merlin wear also carried bike shorts (instead of just the bibs). Fit guide was right on.
Mr Hicks Comfortable, good price and understated design. Happy customer.
rick Quality product, excellent pad, worn for 4 hour rides with no problem, very impressed against my usual Rapha bibs
Mr Wilson Really nice, debated whether to go for similar priced shorts from wiggle etc. but decided to go with these and I'm glad I did, the fit for me is great I bought the large and my measurements are 34 waist(86cm)/40 chest(101cm)/5ft 11ins(180cm) my sizes are equal to the bottom recommended fitting sizes for large but they are most certainly not too big the fit is spot on. The pad is fantastic! So comfy better than my other shorts (Pearl Izumi) not been over 45 miles yet though.
Mr Murphy Took a chance on the new Merlin branded bib shorts while looking for some spares heading into the summer. Turnaround from Merlin was great as always. Shorts are as described, really good quality at this price point. I've had them on for 2 *100km+ rides now, and the chamois is very comfortable. As good as anything in this range. My only quibble is a personal one, the sizing is spot on for waist/chest/height but the thighs are tight. I'm certainly more Chris Hoy than Chris Froome, but even at that, there's not much room left. Other than that they are a great addition if you need a few pairs of bibs on rotation over the summer. The best chamois I've had is the SAT Rekord in my club shorts, but these are right up there.
Nigel Salmon Fantastic bit of kit at a realistic price. I can't say that these shorts will work for you but for me they are so much more comfortable than shorts that cost a LOT more money! They are very well made and the quality is up there with the best. My only gripe is the sizing - every other bit of cycling kit I have is large so that's what I ordered - my son now has a nice new pair of bib shorts !!! (Incidentally, he absolutely loves them). They have been bought for a charity bike ride where we aim to do up to 100 miles a day for six days and, going by our training rides, I have complete confidence that they will see us through. For info, I'm 5ft 10in, 32in waist, 41in chest and I definitely needed an XL.
Mr Williams Very good shorts. I'm 6'2" and slim build. The medium is just right. The pad is good thickness and moulds easily to the body. I've done a couple of 80 milers and have to say I'm extremely satisfied. The only small negative is the straps come up a little short - although I'm tall, it's all in my legs - my torso is average length. But I didn't find them uncomfortable in the slightest - just different to my other shorts. For the price, you can't ask for better - well done Merlin!!
mathew These are a nice pair of bib shorts especially for money. After a handful of 30-mile rides, I can say that the chamois was comfortable, the wide silicon grippers kept the shorts in place, and the compression fit was nice. Great job offering a nice bib at an affordable price.
Eddie Adams Fantastic!!! I could not believe how good these shorts fit and how comfortable they are while riding. Love the material and the padding is the best I have ever worn.
Mr S I am a fan of the Elastic interface pads so these are nice...They fit on the small side. Lots of room on the shoulders so no worries there.
Spen W Good fit, good padding and very comfy
