The Castelli Alpha Wind FZ cycling jersey provides that perfect feeling of being cozy and warm, while still having total freedom of movement with no extra fabric flapping in the wind. The Alpha Wind jersey keeps you dry and warm while Castelli’s Alpha ventilation system stops you from overheating and the Nano Warm back provides total breathability, letting excess heat and body moisture out while keeping the rain out thanks to its clever nanotechnology protection. Castelli have taken their proven flat wrists and waist from their successful Alpha jacket to complete this capable winter cycling jersey.

This jersey surpassed my expectations, best jeresy I own and probably more versatile than my Gabba, highly recommended
This jacket is excellent! Wind proof and breathable, wear a base layer underneath it and it is perfect for single digit centigrade cycling. Pocket at the front is very useful for small items. Great product, all in all and got it at a great price.
Fantastic winter jersey with great materials and construction. True to size but you need to read the actual Castelli sizing charts to confirm your proper size. It is a race fit if sized properly and on the bike it will feel perfect. I purchased Medium and my measurements are 172cm height, 37 inch chest, 65kg. This is a great fit for me wearing the jersey over a mesh base layer and an additional long sleeve, thin merino or synthetic thermal.
One of the best intermediate jersey/jackets I've ever used. Has the classic Castelli fit, leaving enough space for thermals underneath, yet no flapping in the wind. I've used it in pouring rain the other day - 25k with constant rain and spray from cars and lorries passing, yet I stayed perfectly dry underneath.
Would def. recommend as the piece of gear on the days where you don't need a real winter jacket.
A must have for an serious cyclist. The fit: sizing is the same as the Gabba (and you should already have one of those at least). The front has a water resistant fabric and the back breathes really well, nice high collar, the arm cuffs are awesome, long enough and fitted to the wrist. This is a far more technical price of kit than a Gabba and maybe more versitile. I will wear it on those dry cool to cold mornings and potentially under a Gabba on those really cold wet mornings. Buy one. You won't be disappointed.
Very well fitted jersey. Inner vest zips up to create a great warm base layer followed by the usual outer full length zip. I am 6ft 2 and have a 42 inch chest, 16.5 inch collar - Large fitted very well. Wore it for the first time in temp of 10 degrees but very windy. Felt toasty especially on the descents. Pockets nice and tight but roomy enough for an inner and co2 kit, mobile phone etc. If you need (want) a top quality wind proof jacket for a range of temperatures, I would recommend this jersey. Great quality.
Mr Jensen (PSJE)
Ordered one size larger as I always do with Castelli products, and the fit is excellent although not as tight as my other castelli jerseys. Performace is great, but a thermal base layer is needed for the lower temperatures.
A superb windblocking jersey. Looks and fits great.
I'm 5'10 with 40"chest and 30" waist - The medium is a great, non-flapping fit and can wear a thick or thin base layer underneath for 5-16c comfort.
Love this jacket - become my go to for Spring. I've used in temperatures from one or two degrees with a warm base layer to thirteen/fourteen with a mesh base layer.
Early on, just a couple of rides so more to follow. The inner vest a great feature, windstopper effective and the general tailroing strong. Unlike Castelli racing things, a little floppy, particularly in the sleeve rather than taut. I bought a large as I always do for trim/race fit items, and its a bit odd. Perhaps I have been spoiiled by the Gabba.
Not as warm as Castelli would have you believe but still a damn good jersey. Wore this recently on a day when it barely got to 2C degrees, needed a couple of base layers. Arms can get chilly as there is no fleece lining but don't let this put you off, this is one serious piece of kit. Windproof front, breathable, nice high, soft feel collar, 3 pockets + 1 zipped and a great fit. I'm 1.75m tall 83kg ish and broad shouldered, bought XXL, my usual Castelli size and its perfect. Would I pay full r.r.price ?......... No, but in the sale its well worth it. Very pleased.
