The Castelli Mortirolo 4 is the perfect cycling jacket for those dry wintery rides where staying warm and protecting yourself from that persistent wind chill is a priority. This versatile winter jacket allows you to adapt as conditions or circumstances change during your rides. To prevent overheating during your more active training sessions Castelli have included zippered chest vents to allow perspiration to escape while cleverly placed Gore Windstopper panels ensure your chest and core still remain warm and comfortable. With 3 external pockets on the rear there’s enough room to carry your essentials and a silicone gripper on the waist prevents the Mortirolo 4 from riding up as you pedal. With a reflective stripe included on the back you’ll be seen more easily in low light conditions making this an ideal jacket for the dull, grey winter months of the year.

Good color and nice shape. I usually M size jersey. I purchased M size Mortirolo Jacket. It's tight to me a little bit. But, I gonna wear this.
Great product that performs as expected. Wicks sweat away, not overheating inside. Perfect for those colder winter days.
Really pleased so far with this. Standard Castelli sizing so go one bigger at least: I bought to see me through chilly morning commutes and its ideal - strategically placed wind proof panels are very effective and the fleecy lining keeps the chill off. Can`t comment on waterproofing as it hasn`t rained in weeks. The temp guide reckons 5-15 and I`d say thats about right although above 12 its pushing too hot. As I live in Newcastle not expecting this to be too much of a problem. The material isnt as pleasing as the neoprene type stuff in the Perfetto but you get extra warmth for less £. Oh and it looks great too.
I purchased this jacket as a spare "winter thicky" - I already had the same one but with reflective panels and have been using it regularly through winter. With a good merino base layer this jacket is comfortable in temperatures less than what is advertised (-2C is fine with some good gloves and neck choob). Smart fit, order at least one size up. I went XL and have a 39" chest, 6`2" tall and 80kg rider. It`s a great fit, like the pockets in the rear and the vent zips are handy in autumn and spring weather. Best jacket I have without doubt, thanks Merlin!
Perfect for central Spain winter temperatures. Slim fit really appreciated in a winter jacket.
Brilliant jacket - wore it out a couple of days before the Beast from the East arrived. It was +1C with plenty of wind from the east and under the jacket I was wearing a Castelli short sleeve vest and a Helly Hansen long sleeve top - I was warm and dry (jacket ventilation was superb unlike my previous one). I'm 6'2", 14st - the 2XL was a good fit. Best jacket I've ever worn and can thoroughly recommend it.
Very happy with the product. Good fit and great quality. I`m 6 ft tall and 72 kgs. I usually wear a medium T shirt but the right fit for me is XL in this cycling jacket.
Great jacket, worn in -2 windy conditions with only a base layer, no problem. Perfect for long rides, or shorter commutes. I'm 6'2 and weigh 217lbs, and bought xxxl. Good fit, but I have big arms, so a long sleeve base layer is uncomfortable. Overall very pleased!
Perfect dry conditions winter jacket! I sized up from a medium to a large (I'm 6'1", 77kg) for a perfect race fit.
I purchased the red one to fit its color to my bike: Dogma K8-S. I am 181cm and 73kg, 79cm of waist size. I selected XL size. If you like to wear it tightly, you should down one size: L. In my case, I am going to wear a long sleeve jersey underneath with a long sleeved base layer, so I selected one size-up: XL, a little bit loose. However, I am very satisfied with this jacket, and perfect protection from wind in a temperature ranged from 0-5 d.c. In such a temperature, very warm inside the jacket, ventilation is superior for me in the case of hard riding. I strongly recommend this jacket.
I bought this jacket as a Christmas present for my husband and he really loves it. It's extremely comfortable to wear, provides a great barrier to the wind and is warm and cosy. It looks great too. The fit is on the snug side. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service from Merlin.
