Mr HollisWorks really well, keeps mud and splatter off the rear shock, works well keeping shock clean but not the rider but not what I purchased it for, dose what I want it to do.
Steve 'M'Used on a hardtail it is not any where as effective as the front mudguard. Yes, it's well made and fits well on the bike but the majority of the splashed mud comes off the back of the tyre. In saying that, you wouldn't want a big flappy thing hanging off the back. Still glad I bought it, but if you only want to buy one, get the front. Worth every penny.
Sir RummukainenWorks as intended. Halved my post ride cleanup-time because it keeps the gunk out of pivots.
Az AliEasy to fit onto my Factory Fox 36 and brilliant at keeping most of the muck off you when wet and muddy. Great product and looks well on my bike.
steve morrisBrilliant quality and my only criticism is that it doesn’t stop the shock getting muddy
Mr AtkinsonNice mudguard and works efficiently and at the right price
Mr HayesExcellent quality mudgaurd, easy to fit and does what it is designed for.
geoff RawsonEasy to fit and is already reducing the amount of crap getting onto my rear suspension links so i bought another for the wifes mtb as well
GeoffLittle moto style rear mudguard, works well attached to the centre stay of the rear triangle to keep mud/sand/tar/who knows what out of the linkage. Remember to get some clear protection tape as well to avoid frame rub
Mr ReynoldsGood mudguard that keeps the worst off
andyVery sturdy and a great fit with no alterations required. It gives plenty of protection to the shock and linkages.
TimProtects the rear suspension linkage
Mr GealSeems to do a good job but not tested it in wet conditions yet . Easy to fit and stayed in place
happywizardthe RRP Proguard Mudgard Rear and front are the perfect fit for my sons Specialized Riprock 20 bike. Merlin cycles delivered fast, next day delivery. great service
Mr IrelandAfter researching all available rear mtb mudguards I decided on RRP. After several off road rides including mud the Proguard has proved effective on my 29er hardtail. I did have to modify it slightly to fit my bike, but that may not be necessary for other make's.
Mr HallNot the cheapest mudguard, but definitely worth the expense, well designed and made and easy to fit.
Filipe GilAfter faffing around with cheaper items, I've found what I always wanted. Does the job superbly whilst looking great on the bike. Spot on!
stuartBrilliant mudguard, as good as all the reviews suggested.
Mr GrundyI have been looking for a rear mudguard for my Trek full suspension mountain bike that gave good clearance for mud, fitted the frame securely and looked good, the RRP Proguard did it all at a reasonable price.
Mr Bougeois IIISleek design, low profile, quality materials and functional.
DEGreat rear mudguard. I had to drill/cut out on either side to fit on a Giant Stance 1, but it was simple enough to do. Definitely helps keep the mud away from the shock and frame.
Joseph StillwellI had to run a Minion 2.4 instead of the 2.6 I had been running on my Ibis HD4 to make this work. My shock and pivots stay way cleaner now!
Mr ClarkeUnfortunately this rear mudguard did not provide enough coverage once fitted to my stumpjumper comp carbon however fits perfectly on my friends Devinci.
Mr SlizauskasQuality definatly good . Will buy another pair for my BirdEaris145.
weave1Quality product. I`ve used this with my plus bike with a reverse monitou fork (29er with 3.0 tyres). I`ve fitted the rear proguard to both the front and rear of my bike as its the only mud guard ive found to work with a reverse arch fork. they are brilliant
Mr CohenGreat product well made and connects well. Hit the mark
MarkA very neat, looks great and easy to fit mudgaurd. Works well on my Canyon Strive. The only issue with it is it is rather small which means it doesn't offer a lot of coverage of the bike and definitely does not protect you from getting covered with mud. It's ok for me but if your looking for maximum protection I wouldn't get this mudgaurd.
JOHNEasy to fit, robust, looks good and keeps the worst of the spray off you. What more could you want?
HashTagGood mudguards are quite expensive, although this one is quite reasonable and keeps the majority of mud away from your behind. Made in England too so recommended.
Richard SatterthwaiteI spotted this at the Cycle Show and was impressed by its simplicity to install, coverage around the wheel and quality of material. It's a stylish addition to the bike and accommodates tyres up to 29inch. It offers superb protection from water spray and mud splatter. Overall very pleased with this purchase.
Mr FayleBit smaller then I thought but over all very good mudgard well recommended
Mr VarneyGreat quality, perfect sizing and works well at keeping rear suspension shock clean
LaurenceNice sturdy product, easy to fit, great coverage
