Better than my three times more expensive 'boutique brand' brakes
Great brake set with plenty of stopping power. Easy to install, setup and bleed (once you buy the bleed kit for another $20:>( I changed from a set of Deore V-brakes and down sized the wheels on my hybrid to 26", never liked the 700c's on it. Now I've got a pretty decent hardtail. My only complaint, the levers are shorter, (I know, you don't need the leverage with hydraulics) and it changes the entire feel of the bar. I'm sure I get it all sorted out, and even it I have to change my riding style a little it was still a worthy upgrade.
Great brakes at a great price. Deffinite upgrade from my stock Tecktro Novela's.
Superb product, packed in original Shimano box with spare olives & end fitting - so that hoses can be shortened. Easy to bleed & set up. Pads retract substantially, so there is no brake drag (as experienced with Avid brakes).
