Sizing Information for Altura Clothing:
Like the quality of them, gone size down and they suit perfectly. Would recommend them especially for this price.
Nice quality and size guide was correct. Great product
I am really pleased with these trousers. They are good quality and offer some really nice features like the adjustable leg length. The waist sizing is definitely generous: I was tempted to get the large size but after reading other reviews I got the medium and these fit my 34 inch waist perfectly. These over-trousers are a great deal in the sale at the moment.
I am a 28" waist so I ordered a small, but they were much too big. The XS are better but still need to be adjusted quite a lot to fit. The cut of the legs are baggy and definitely more suited to mountain biking as you could easily wear pads under these trousers. The material looks like it will be quite hard wearing, but it's too early to tell at the moment just how well they will wear after a few gritty rides. Overall they are good value for the money.
Fit well, strong materials, good price. Bike specific features galore. Appear to be well made. Have not worn them in the rain yet, but I'm sure they will keep me dry.
These are great! I am on my second pair of 3/4 length Attack shorts after splitting the crotch after 3 years of wet weather use, yet they still remain waterproof. These are the same material , so will wear over over shorts, although could be used as an over trouser too. I am a 34 inch waist and went with large, but ordered my wife a medium and these also fit. Not too heavy, but a good quality breathable waterproof membrane. Can be a little noisy though!
This is now the 5th pair of attack trousers I've bought over the years. To be realistic, if you're going to use them for mountain biking don't expect them to remain impervious to the elements when riding in the worst of the winter weather. However they are the best I've been able to find. I buy a size smaller than usual & wear them tighter fitting as normal trousers as opposed to baggy over trousers. Overall they are brilliant with reinforced knees & backside. Plus the added advantage of adjustable leg length is a massive bonus. Merlin currently have them at a bargain price.
Some really nice features - extendable cuff, reflective logos, stretch panel across top of seat, long calf zippers, and decent stitching. The material does seem windproof, but it offers zero insulation. As a shell, they are great, but be ready to wear at least one insulated base layer, if not two on really cold days. Front pockets are small, and have cheap (but seemingly water-resistant) zippers.
I wear 34x34 pants, and I ordered the Large size. They fit great, but could stand to be just a bit longer.
Overall, nice for the price!
Great fit size is accurate. Nice and long with the fold down cuff.
Excellent waterproof trousers, which keep you dry and warm. They are tough too and I have no complaints,. Size and fit is ok at least there is a lot of adjustment. Great value at this price.
Have now used these a couple of times and they are very comfortable and seem to be top class quality keeping me very dry. At clearance price they are great value.
Quality made trouser at a great price BUT be aware that they run quite big in size.....size Medium waist is around 36-38" and not 30-32" as stated by altura (there is velcro adjusters but this just makes them baggy on the butt) I went down a size for a perfect fit
Overall pleased with the construction
These trousers are well designed and nicely put together. Great for cold, wet days but too warm for Summer temperatures. I like them a lot.
Wore these for the first time on the trail in very wet weather and a lot of standing water. They performed very well and were comfortable.
Seem to size on big side, I ordered an medium but exchanged for small, they fit well. Not ridden in rain yet!
If you are in the market for some good waterproof trousers dont look any further these are excellent
