Really good deal for a good product. Does everything it should, fairly straightforward to use and usual quick delivery from MC.
Still working on all features, seems fairly good tool but interface is hard to learn. Once all learned seems to be a good quality computer.
Brilliant little device. GPS, speed, cadence, HRM plus lots of extras like training plans, Strava connectivity. Easy to use, lightweight and a great price, especially when compared with the G branded competition.
I have been favourably impressed by this. The main unit is fine, and tracks accurately. Upload to Strava is super easy (save to PC as .tcx and upload). That it came with ANT+, sensors and cost about the same as the cheapest Garmin is impressive.
Great little unit complete with all the sensors you need also easy to upload to Strava via the web interface, display can be customised to your preference all you need at a fraction of the cost of a Garmin unit with the same features
For this price and with these features you can't argue! It would be double, no, treble the price for a similar "Big G" setup! Very happy. :-D
Spot on price, especially when compared to other similar products.
Interface is a little clunky and there isn't much in the way of instruments with the device. Coupled with very little info available on line the initial use was a little wasted and I was reliant on trial and error to resolve.
Still unsure if I can use the speed sensor with the GPS so currently have that turned off.
Overall a good little unit, if you have the patience to learn to use I would definitely recommend it.
Great value for money. GPS works great and was very easy to configure. The screen data is a little 'busy' when sometimes you only want 1 or 2 readings
I'm very satisfied about the rider 40, fast to catch the gps signal, and with accurate sensors.
I'm a little disppointed with the the software Bryton Bridge. Frequently (not always) I get some errors when I try to upload from my pc.
Great product, owned the garmin 200 before I upgraded to this and glad I did - bit different at first to get used to but when you get to terms with basics it's great. Still yet to use some of the in built functions.. Uploads fine to strava via bryton website. Free t shirt too!! Super!
Great piece of kit. The Bryton Rider web page takes a bit of getting used to after being used to Strava. Really good value

I'm very happy with my new toy. It has plenty of functions and you can analyze your trainning sessions perfectly in the web. Download the user manual is quite recommended in order to take advantage of all its features.
Very pleased with this unit. Super price too. Very simple to set up, sensors work without any fuss. HR strap is comfortable. All good!
A great product with awesome features, bryton sport website is great and the files can even be uploaded to strava as well, I would reccomend this to all cyclists, great product!
I just only have this gps for two weeks but my first impressions are very good. One thing that I was worried about was If it would be very difficult to upload the information to strava but with its web page It's very easy
The best price online.
This GPS have all we need, and half the price of other leading brands.
On the support site we found several workouts scheduled with well-defined objectives, all the sensors are very accurate.
I'm very happy with this purchase.
Mr Prieto Rodríguez
It is a good device: unbeatable value, light and beautiful. Nothing to fear from the Garmin. Brytonsport is also a very useful and easy to use tool.
The menu settings and training programs are amazing!
The Bryton rider 40T is one of the best GPS devices I've ever used with the added bonus of your training needs catered for all in all a great piece of kit.
After some research decided on this based on price and features especially battery life and training mode. Other reviews were mixed but I have found the product fantastic so far and Bryton support great too. This was my second gps after a ventus G1000, so a significant improvement over a very good product. Great service and price from Merlin. Strongly recommend!
So far I'm very happy with the Bryton Rider 40T. It does everything I wanted it to e.g. the slope information, HRM functions and training programmes. It is also pretty rugged and sturdy.
The thing I would note here, that is not clear in the description, was that this model comes with separate speed and cadence devices rather than one combined device.
Merlin were very quick and efficient at getting the computer to me and I'd have no hesitation to order from them again.
Overall I'm really pleased with this unit and I'm still getting used to all the features after using it for the last 2 weeks. I can't make comparisons to another leading make of bicycle computer but this is 'fully featured' i.e. it has HR, a cadence sensor and a speed sensor so that you can get all the info you need both on the turbo trainer and outdoors via gps and comes in a small package, not much bigger than a matchbox.
There are some areas for improvement. Firstly, I found the instructions too basic and the only way I've managed to fully understand this unit is by constantly fiddling around with it and intuition. It's like the manual undersells the unit's capabilities. Another aspect I was disappointed with is the fact that the cadence and speed sensors are separate units which is a little odd considering Bryton make a single unit, why not include it ? I suppose this is nit-picking as I'm still very pleased with it, especially for the price.
Great item, fantastic value from Merlin. Easy to setup - sensors all worked straight away. Done a few rides now, no problems. Easy to upload rides for analysis onto the Bryton Sport desktop, and works seamlessly with Strava.
Excellent product, the information available while on the road is fantastic. It is even better to review once downloaded to a computer. My only gripe is that it only has one mounting bracket for the computer. There should be 2 as the computer has the ability to record information for 2 bikes. Merlin's fantastic service ensured the product arrived in New Zealand in 7 days.
Once again Merlin Cycles have excelled. Fantastic service and super delivery time.
Love the Bryton 40T great computer and great training aid
Price excellent price! I think it's best GPS category, and a spectacular site Bryton, fairly complete for training, an indispensable tool for training.
