Fabulous groupset. Bling, bling, bling. Some great features for me. The adjustability of the levers both gear and brake. I love the feel of the levers. Great looking groupset and the lightest available. Made a big difference to my bike along with the ksyrium ssl wheels I recently bought.
But does it actually work any better than my 105 5700 system. No, but I am very impressed with the 105 anyway. Very happy with Sram Red 22.
Great product and prompt delivery. Having ridden Campagnolo and Shimano, Red 22 is every bit as capable as the top offerings from rival companies with a crisp and satisfying mechanical shift. The yaw technology works flawlessly and offers a true 22 set up. Highly recommended.
Bought for a custom build and was very happy with the result. Lightest stock groupset available and looks the biz!
When buying make sure you select the right BB to suit your frame. PF86 BB was not available on Merlin, but an easy problem to fix locally.
love this groupset, fantastic shifting.
Well, what can you say about RED 22... simply awesome, stealth quiet, simple to use, lightest gruppo, easy to set up, beautiful to look at... just Perfect, and at Merlins' price..unmissable
WOW. What an upgrade. I mean I am going from 2010 rival to red 22, but still. Yes the Yaw front derailleur is kinda a pain to install, just keep calm and watch the SramTech video on it. Not a fan of the cable clamp on the front. Smooth shifting front and rear, with good feed back on the paddle. Down shifting took some getting used to, just because of the smoothness compared to rival. Brakes are brakes. Easy to install and easy to adjust. Felt powerful enough on the first couple of descents.
