General information about our shipping
Upgraded my (cheap - sorry!) bike ready for an East coast to West coast, unassisted personal challenge with my bro-in-law - to be completed in 4 days. The furthest I cycle is the pitifully short 0.6mi to work and back every day. This should be interesting... Day one of the challenge was today; 2 Aug 14. The body may not be up to the challenge, but the groupset was faultless. Smooth, slick, fast gear changes helped ease me up the hills and speed down them. 63mi done; bring on the next 3 days!!! They are worth every penny.
Merlin were the cheapest by a long way. I am so impressed with the new Shimano. I have had a break from riding for about 8-9 years. I can't believe how the derailleurs have come on in such a short time. Extremely rapid shifting and when in the hills a massive confidence boost. As for the set up, once fitted which was really quick, only took about 5-10 mins and only minutes to adjust after a couple of rides. If Deore is this good I can only imagine what the xt-xtr could deliver. Thanks Merlin
